I've had my Siamese Since he was 3 months old, and its been 4 month now.

From what i've read Siamese are suppose to meow all day long and be very clingy to a single person.

My Siamese is very quiet , is very nice to everyone; even people he just met and seems very independent.

i moved into my new home which I ran into some feral cats. Long story short, mother who i felt sorry for, started to feed everyday, had a litter of kittens, and i quickly was feeding 4 cats/kittens. Soon they grew up and i got scared I was harboring a large catery performed TNR(Trap Nueter Release) on the group. One of the cats, the runt of the litter, really pulled on my heart strings and I decided to keep inside, which i fell she is very grateful (she sleeps with me and my other two cats everynight on my bed and seems content My question is, every once in a while my recent adoption(its been 8 weeks) will look outside and see her mother and the rest of her litter mates eating the food i provide them and start meowing.ive felt really bad like she misses them and have even open the door for her, but she prefers to stay indoors. Did i make the wrong decision by adopting a feral cat and keeping her inside with me? Or should i slightly push her outside with her old family? prefer not to

Put its nose on yours, then licks your neck or place its paw on the side of your face like it wants to make out lol. I had alot of cats but none of them ever did this.

If they just walk around on the pavement, roll in the grass or dirt, and run around rubbing up against trees, or will they be fine?

I just got a cat from my neighbors (they were going to take him to the pound), and his fur is matted really bad in a couple places, I've cut off the bigger clumps, but there are some that are too close to the skin to be able to cut them off, I don't have the money to take him to a groomer, I just took both my other cats in for their checkups (I get a discount for taking them together, but it's still spendy enough that I had to save for it), and I have a car loan that I'm paying on (just a couple more months), so I won't have the money to get my new kitty really fixed up until after Christmas. Meanwhile, he's outside because he has fleas and giving him a bath is pointless with all the clumps and I don't want to give my other two cats fleas, and to top it off, he's declawed so he can't even defend or scratch himself!! :( He's such a beautiful cat, he's a super fluffy Siamese with the brightest blue eyes and is so loving. He should have been some little old lady's lap kitty.

i got a new 5 month old kitten from the pound, he was healthy. got his shots, he's neutered. He was tested for alot of things, they came out negative.
A couple days later, he starts sneezing constantly. I mean like 10 sneezes in a row. then he started coughing horrible. i took it he has an upper respiratory infection.
He was still very playful, he eats, drinks, poop, ect.
We take him to the vet, and he gives me, nose drops & some stuff to put in his mouth, every 12 hours. & i have a checkup again tomorrow.
But the medicine doesnt seem like its working. He only coughs and sneezes, i say once every couple hours.
BUT he has so much stuff coming from his eyes. & when he sleeps and wakes up, his eyes are stuck together. I wash him with a warm towel. but it just comes back a couple min later.
I'm very scared.& now my 3 year old cat is starting to sneeze & have watery eyes. I keeep them serperated .
I just want to know if it is an uri. is this normal?
i cry all the time, i cant lose them

Hello everyone, thanks in advance for your kind answers.

I have spoken about my cat before. He is 1 year old and should have been a dog. He eats everything. I have had to keep the bathroom doors shut, then turn kleenex boxes over and shut doors. He eats carpet fibers, tries to chew on metal and even my fridge. About a month ago, he ate my pajamas and vomitted it up and became really sick. Vet decided he probably had asthma because of the dry heaving he had. He never did it before.

Now he ate my newspaper, glad tie string to my garbage bag (he never ate that before), He ate his collar so much, it won't fit him, and he ate my throw pillows. I tried bitter apple spray and he licks it. It is not a deterant for him.

Does anyone have anything out there that I could spray on everything? He is breathing fast again and dry heaving like he did when I asked questions last time, only not as bad yet. I give him Laxair to help get rid of whatever else is in there.

Why do cats go crazy with catnip, does it work on humans?

I bought my cat catnip and a cat bed and it came with the cat nip, what really does that do to cats? He laid down in it and he felt so comfortable and hyped. I would just like to know what does cats see from it and how does it effect them.

She was diagnosed with hypertension a little over a year ago, and we were treating her with meds for the condition. Today she began bleeding from her mouth...we took her to the vet, but she had to be put to sleep. The answer I got from the vet just didn't really satisfy me. What could have caused this. She had appeared healthy before- no loss of appetite, etc. Has anyone out there ever lost a pet who displayed these symptoms? I need to find some closure for this painful loss.

I am only 17 so I can't do anything and my parents... well, We are having money problems right now. ANYWAYS we just found a worm on our six month old kitten, hanging near it's tail that is white and moving so I have gathered that it IS a tapeworm and it is NOT contgious to humans, but it IS contagious to our other cat if it comes in contact with the fleas or feces. Am I right about all of that so far? In any event we are buying flea and worm medicine tonight but we cannot afford to take the kitten to a vet at least until next month which we will deffinately do but we want the worm[s] GONE. What kind of medicine has worked for you? I do understand about worms but please help with anything at all that you can tell us, things to do, etc. As much information as possible is needed because I'm worried for her =[

My kitty has had diarhea for the last 3 days. And he's fuzzy and gets if all over his butt. I came home today and there was poop everywhere around the litter box and huge piles of diarhea in the litter box. Please don't just tell me to call the vert because I'm a good kitty mom and already did and he's going tomorrow. In the mean time, any reccomendations? We've had this problem before, and changed the food, and then he got better. He's 11 months old and we just changed from the Purina One kitten food, to Purina indoor formula. Yesterday we changed back to the Purina one kitten because it did the trick before. However, I have heard that Purina is bad for your cats. He's acting fine, still hyper and playful, so we're thinking it's the food thats doing it to him.. If you've had this problem, what food have you gfiven your kitty? or just any reccomendations in general. Also, we have a guinea pig, and we think he might get a hold of his timothy hay, could this be a problem? HELP!

My mother-in-law's 3 year old cat has come to live with us. He has been in the house for an hour and is still in his crate. I know he will be scared at first and we just check on him. Can you give us any pointers to make him more comfortable? It is very quiet here, no kids, and we are just letting him do his thing...which seems to be hiding! Thanks
