I think that Gordy is just a regular old domestic longhair. Not that there's anything wrong with regular cats, but I just don't think she is a special breed. She is a very pretty cat though... I like those super long whiskers she has!! I would also like to point out that it is not entirely uncommon to come across a purebred cat or dog as a stray... a friend of mine has a farm, and stupid a** people come and drop off litters of kittens often. My sister adopted "Lucky" from this farm after someone dropped off a litter of Siamese cats in the dead of winter... all but one (hence, Lucky) died, and Lucky was near death and is epileptic due to exposure. Not to worry though, he is an awesome cat and takes his phenobarbitol and rarely has seizures. But my point is that people do this kind of crap and purebred animals can often be found in shelters and on the streets. Anyway, you have a great cat whether she has a pedigree or not!!! And you saved her from the streets, which makes her even more special!

Gordy looks like a domestic longhair to me. She's very pretty. Lots of websites show pictures of various breeds.
Wouldn't she have blue eyes if she was a ragdoll or ragamuffin? Breed doesn't matter anyway, unless you are looking for specific qualities - even then breed's no guarantee!

From the shape of her head, her markings and color I said Gordy looks to be a American long hair tabby. It is somewhat rare to find a female orange cat.

You didn't say how much she weighs because she could also have some Main Coon cat if she is really large.

Very cute kitty!

She is most likely a mixed breed long haired cat - called a domestic long hair and she is in an orange tabby color. The breed you were talking about is called a ragdoll. They are very expensive and usually only available from breeders.

Gordy is simply a longhair domestic cat. A mix of of several.
Babycakes.finster@ yahoo.ca. I have a black dom. longhair. No specific breed. Like this helps!
