A kitten or puppy can be spayed or neutered once it's two pounds in weight and eight weeks in age. So get it done as soon as you can.

Not sure what you mean by "schitzo". Cats can be very silly and dash about like mad if that's what you mean - she's just having fun!!

some vets will do paediatric neutering yet there is each and every so often of venture that the cat could be a million/2 neutered. (purely one testicle is chanced on and bumped off). My opinion is to enable him get to 5-6 months so as that the two considered one of his testicles could desire to be desended into the scrotum that way there is not any hazard of him having to have a 2nd surgical treatment to stumble on the different. I certainly have considered this ensue on a pair activities. Male cats can in many situations start up spraying around 6 months and up. As for crystals from being fastened to early, i in my opinion have on no account heard of that. I certainly have purely usual that male cats should not be fed a persevering with weight loss application of fishy DRY nutrition because of the fact it ought to reason crystals of their urine which finally leads to blockages.

You should wait until she is 6-8 months old...Alot of vets say that it is best to spay animals after they have went through their first heat cycle for hormone things ( not sure why exactly)

Its also better to get your cat spayed because it will help her healthy greatly and it will help lower the chance of her getting diseases in her ovaries and etc...

If your cat is underweight this can also help her gain weight and keep it at a good weight...It will also make her more active and happy..She will also probably become more affectionate

Another good reason to get her spayed is so that she doesnt go around your house marking her territory..

A kitten that age is normally very active. So don't worry about it.

Traditionally, kittens are fixed when they are about 6 months old- preferably before their first heat. But I have heard of it being done as early as 4 months.

Good luck!

Your kitty is definitely old enough, and she should weigh 3 pounds. Just call to make an appointment and ask your vet.

Do it before she is 6 month, that's what I do with all of my 6 cats, My vet recommended this many years ago and I do it with my dogs also.

talk to your vet, as soon as they will allow it, then do so.
if you wait too long she may develop hormones that will put her in heat and she can get pregnant.
