Why does my cat pee in my shoes?
My female 10 year old indoor spayed cat has started peeing on my families shoes at the front door. Her litter box is clean.
Any ideas/suggestions on how to get her to stop?

Hi I'd really appreciate a qualified vets opinion on this. My cat has been developing small patches of fur loss within which are raised pink lumps which then bleed (and sometimes weep) then scab over. She had antibiotics a couple of weeks ago which seemed to clear it up but fresh patches still keep developing. My vet said it could be an allergy to Iams dry food but she's been off that for over 2 months now. She doesn't seem to scratch the areas or be particularly bothered by them and isn't behaving abnormally in any other way (she's not off her food or less active). What could this be, is it serious (my vet doesn't seem to think so) and can it be prevented/cured?

I live in apartment and I fear the legendary vocalization of Siamese will be a problem, but maybe not. They will be about 18 weeks old.

I have an 11yr old cat, Ginger...she's really healthy, she's 'going' enough, she's even playing. She's a calico, shorthair. But my mom said she might only be around for another year. Wahhh! I DON'T WANT HER TO GO! She's really healthy(if not a little lazy)

She's really spetial. i've had her since i was about 2. It's the first memory i have.

i dont want her to die. :"(

Have you ever had to get rid of a cat?

What should I do.

I am not sure if I should take it to the shelter or just take it to the vet to have put to sleep.

Thanks for answering

He has been coughing and gaggin a lot for the last 3 days.. the first day I thought it went away, for he vomited 3 different substances.. but he continues to gag like he needs to get something up... Also coughs a lot. I don't know if this is directly related, but when I pet him like I normall pet him, on the head or nose, he kind of twitches his head, like involuntary spasms.. He's been eating and drinking, but sleeping a lot.. Stools are normal.. I'm taking him to the vet tonight, but just wanted to see what you guys thought?

I have neighbors that constantly have a sign in there yard for free kittens. I know they have cats outside that they don't fix and so they're always getting pregnant. I have sent them letters suggesting that they have them fixed, I even sent them an article in our local paper about free spay/neuter clinic. Why do they not care about their cats health and also about bringing more homeless kittens into a world that is already overpopulated with them??!

I live in a townhouse so his veranda is right next to mine! His 2 cats are always outside and they come to sleep on my rug that I keep in front of the door! I think they are full of ear mites and fleas and my 4 cats are indoor cats and they caught ear mites! I threw the rug out and I am treating my cats with Revolution! What can I do to keep these cats away from my veranda without insulting my neighbours?? It's costing me quite a bit for vets and medication and maybe my cats will get fleas from them! Please help??

Hello. I am really feeling bad for my cats. Especially the 4 month old kittens (I have 2). My adult cat also has fleas but it doesn't seem like they are as bad as on the 4 month old kittens. The adult cat spends most of her time upstairs and the two 4 month old kittens are downstairs. The adult cat had kittens yesterday and I am afraid they will get fleas as well. I don't know what I can do to get rid of the fleas safely and quickly. I did vacuum around the house and I put the flea collar on the two 4 month old kittens who do not ever come upstairs. The 4 month old kittens look so uncomfortable....and I feel bad because they are so loving. I don't see any scabs on them or anything but I do see flea droppings near the tails. I don't know much about fleas as I have never experienced them with pets. I don't know if it helps but the adult cat is an outdoor cat. I don't know what type of products to get or which part of the house I should focus on. Please help. Thank you.
