If you want a really unique name for a cat, why not reading some of T.S. Elliots book of Practical Cats. There is a poem in there called the naming of cats, as well as poems about certain cats. I ended up naming my cat Rumpleteazer because she acts just like the cat he mentions in the book.

When Portrayed in the musical, Skimbleshanks was a orange tabby.

My orange tabby cat looked just like that and we named him Oliver, from the movie Oliver and Company. Do you have a favorite movie? If so, you can name it one of the names in that movie. What is his personality like? Frisky would be good if he was a frisky cat. If you still have no idea what to name him, try looking at names from this link. Good luck!

Name him after a favorite character in a book, or favorite artist, author or mythilogical character. Pick something that is unusual, not many that you have heard used.....I have a Wyland (fav Artist), Hagrid who is also orange from Harry Potter, Tsunami, because he was wild child when young, Miss Priss, speaks for itself! Be creative, used to have a cat name D.O.G. also........only you can name your cat..check pet names in your search area, that will give you some ideas.

OMG! He is tooooo precious! I hope he's yours by now! Names are tough if you just go by looks. Personality plays a huge part. The first name that comes to mind is Morris as in the old cat food commercials!

A name that you won't see often is......Qwilleran (no mistake...that is a w ), after the hero in the "Cat Who" books by Lillian Jackson Braun. Your cat would be "unique", as I'm sure you think he is!
