We brought her to the vet, but have not heard anything back. If anyone has any idea what could be wrong with her, please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have had them for over 7 years now, so I know that summers they shed a lot, esp since we have no AC. But this summer (which has not even been that hot) they are loosing so much hair it is making me crazy.
One big problem is ever since they were kittens, they have HATED being brushed. They tollerate it for about 30 sec/day. I have tried many different brushes and towels and find I have to stick to the bristled one simply because it removed the most hair. My tabby is actually loosing so much hair that it can come out in clumps and it actually mating on her back legs and rear area. They are short hair cats. I didn't think this was possible. Giving them a bath is like suicide but I may be at that point, though I also know that I don't really want to stress them out. They are relativiely stress free indoor cats with a very good diet.
Can I get them to love the brush/comb? A magical shed less potion? Will I ever stop vacuuming every day???

My 1st female cat became pregnet, she had 3 kittens, twin girls and a boy. What a good mother she was, being my 1st time with the whole expirience I became so attached as I watched them grow and how mom would talk to and treat each one in her own special way. Of the twins, she favored the smallest. She loved her babies. As they grew to be 6 wks. I noticed she had certain "calls" for each kitten, I watched her teach them her own little ways like how to drink out of faucets or beg when the fridge opens. She even brought home her hunts to show her babies.Last wk. a friend came by to pick up one of the twins. Mom paniced when he left. calling and searching aimlessly for her baby. I had to call and tell him he had moms baby and to return her for the other twin.It was so sad to see mom panic. Poorkittys what do they think? Their world as they knew it no longer exists,so scared thinking of what was, and watching mom wonder and search calling out to them but theyre gone! It Broke my heart

I have a litter of three kittens that have gotten scattered in my barn. The mother has located one of the kittens but neither I nor her have been able to locate the other two. It hasn't been more than an hour or so. She is staying close to the one kitten but calling out. Will she find the other kittens or will she be unable to find them without my help?

I have twin kittens and they keep tearing up my silk flower arrangements. I have purchased many types and kinds of sprays at pet stores, but they do not work. I have even tried spraying with water/vingear solution, still does not work. Does anyone have a solution short of hiding all the arrangements behind closed doors?

I've spoke with someone who has said that they have 2 housetrained bobcats that use the litter box, but they are also a breeder, so I'm wondering what they aren't telling me.

Has anyone here that could answer successfully housetrained a bobcat? I'm considering purchasing a male. I would never consider a larger cat than this.

Is it also possible that a bobcat can be raised on cat food instead of meat? I assume cat food consists of a healthy blend of minerals and vitamens etc, but don't know if they are able to accept this form of diet.

Thanks.

I'd like to administer these Ace pills to my cats, but one in particular always finds a way to vomit or spit any pills back out. However, I've found that she does well by taking oral liquid medications. My vet gave me the pill version and I'm wondering if diluting in water will "spoil" (decomposition) the effects of it.

We've had ours on 2 units twice a day,per the vet, and he's been stable these last two months, but there's info out there that cats on Lantus for several months may suddenly go into a honeymoon phase where they stop being diabetic and don't need the insulin anymore.

I'm wondering if anyone here has had theirs on Lantus and had this happen? What were the signs (if any) that I'd need to be watching for. I don't home test, and he gets his fructosamine test and glucose test done every few months at the vets.
