You need to take the cat to the vet and get fresh medicine. I just went to the vet a month ago and the ointment they gave me for my cat's eye infection has already expired. If you've had them for any length of time, they probably are expired and should be tossed out. Besides, unless this is a frequently recurring infection your cat has, you can't be sure it needs the same treatment this time that it did last time. Sometimes infections and conjunctivitis can have similar symptioms but need totally different treatments. Go to the vet to be safe and throw out all your unlabled meds.

The ointment provided by or suggested by the vet - of Course!
Many products meant for people can be dangerous to animals,
and if you have all these unlabeled products sitting around, how do you know which one to use for which ailment- this could be very dangerous if you mix an eye ointments for say, an itch ointment.

It sounds as though it's probably viral - have the vet culture one of them for herpes. There are drops that are effective on herpes, but they vary by cat. I've had success with one called Tobramycin - the first time we used it we (meaning the vet and I) went through several kinds, and this seemed to work well. Worth suggesting to the vet....

If you're not going to go to the vets to have the bottles identified, then you might as well throw them out and have the cat re-examined and get new meds.

We won't be able to tell you, since we don't know what kind of medicine you have. Why don't you go ask your vet?
