i have a female cat. i bought a new male cat and they are both house cats and they are adults the female is 3 and new cat is 1. they both fight would Feliway help to stop this problem

Maybe the female is in heat and the male is trying to jump her or she just might not like him. Females tend to get nasty when they are in heat. I wouldn't want a guy all over me all the time, lol!

It can help a lot since it's a synthetic cat hormone that tells cats to stay calm.
You can also try Rescue Remedy, which is a flower essence that cats respond to very well.

Hello, the plug-in Feliway might help,have you introduced them slowly to each other? You could try putting them in different rooms,then transfer them so that they get used to each others smell.Good luck-you might need some patience!!

New cats will always fight, especially at a younger age. Just let them, they won't hurt each other. They're just doing what instinct tells them.
