All pets should have at least two syllables in their name so that they hear two tones in their name,
for example:
Ta-ra, Jet-boy, Os-car, then you can make the name sound according to whether they are good or bad behaved.

Hehe wait until you get the little guy home....we were going to call out ginger boy Garfield but after looking at him changed it to Chancer because it was by chance we got him....then after a few days we noticed that he was obsessed with cheese and every time our 3 year old had cheese the naughty kitten would try and eat it so we called him cheese and because cheese is a silly name we called him Chester Cheese....
and his tabby boy brother that we have is called Stewart because he looked Scottish of course....
And yes I am crazy

I have a ginger male named Siegfried. The girl kitties here are Georgia, Inky, Pookie, and Raccoon.
Georgia was named George until we found out that she is a girl. She sits in the classic cat pose which is typical of males and not females.
I have no idea how Raccoon got her name. Mostly, we call her Squeak because of the way she meows.
