He has green/blue spots inside his ear and on the other side, in the exact same place, his hair has turned white (His fur is black). Does anybody have any idea what this may be?

Could this be a tattoo? Some breeders ear tattoo their cats.

It is in the same spot on both sides, so I wouldn't worry. They are probably just normal spots. If you were to shave your cat bald (which I would not do) your cats skin would be the color of its hair. (but a little off in shade). So your cat has a place in its ear that if it had hair there it would be colored hair. Most black cats have a few white hairs so that is also normal.

well it maybe from your cat getting older that happens to all animals. but check and see if it's on her stomach too but if his skin isn't getting darker take him to the vet.
