Arm & Hammer Super Scoop clumping litter works wonders in my househould. I normally use the unscented, but the green scented one is okay too. I usually clean it daily, but when I've been away for a few days, I still can't smell anything until I'm actually scooping (and not much then either).

I only have 1 cat at the moment though. If you have more, A&H has a Multiple Cats kind, but I haven't had the need to test it.

I've made the switch over to Fresh Step for multiple cats, I have 3 and one of which rarely covers up after & it seems to keep the odor down the best. If your like me & have a hard time scooping out the litter often then this one's the best I work a lot & like coming home to a fresh house.

We had to switch so many litters because my oldest cat has allergies. We eventually went to feline pine. In the 9 years we've had Smokey this is the only litter that has helped with odor control and does so w/o a perfume smell. We wouldn't use anything else now and thankfully Smokey doesn't seem to be allergic to this one.

Mimi Litter is by far THE best cat litter (available in Walrmart, and other stores I'm sure). I live in a small apartment and it NEVER smells of urine or feces... and I have a kitty. They go so many times a day it's not even funny. It's not regular dusty litter. It's porous Silica sand that inhibits bacteria. It lasts a long time w/o changing it as well. Just "pooper-scooper" it as needed and your home won't smell a bit! (I'ts also good cause it won't harm the environment). GL.

Fresh Step is the best! I had a real problem with Tidy Cats--the box smelled TERRIBLE, and I found it didn't clump very well at all. If you can find the Fresh Step + Cedar, that works even better.

Scoop Away is also pretty good, but I don't like the scent. And I tried crystals, but my cat had a bad skin reaction to them.

TIDY CAT ALL THE WAY!!! Some of my friends think that they are all the same and buy the cheap stuff. Let me tell you ITS NOT! Their house smells of piss to high hell. One bucket of Tidy Cat last me a month maybe a little longer. It is one of the best inventions ever. There is no smell at all ( unless u don't clean it at least once a day), and everything clumps up right away into small balls even the urine! Locks up smell right away. Its very very very easy to clean. U cant go wrg with Tidy Cat. You just cant.
