There have been a massive list of recalled wet cat food that has been killing cats. One of them is the president's choice brand which I stupidly fed my cat three days ago. She seems fine, but does anyone know if symptoms would have started showing already or should I take her to the vet to be safe?
Im very worried.

My cat simon had surgery to find why she was loosing weight, kidneys started to fail in a very short time. I was trying everything from gaterade, anything for protien to put weight on. Looks like it was the cat food! She was my best friend! She did not have to die in an agony! I think someone needs to be responsible. I live in Arizona, and any help would be helpful.

I just picked a kitty up from a friend who found it on the streets, and it was the only one of the litter who survived. I have the money for feeding and grooming him, and will be taking him to a $10 vaccine fair next month. Jefferson Parish helps certain groups s/n kitties by free voucher, but I am not in the included groups. I do not, however, have $80 for the fixing of kitty. Are there any other groups that help people spay/nueter cats for a reasonable price? I'd hate to have to give him up to SPCA, but my apartment can't have an unfixed cat, and it is legally required of me as a non-breeder here to fix him.

Does anyone know where the main sourse of tained food ended up because Nutro says none of the illnesses was from their products but they took it off to be safe. Also there was millions of pouches recalled, what is the chance that any given one was recalled.

I am having a difficult time getting to the vet on weekdays due to work/school obligations, so I am looking for a vet who is open on Saturdays in my area so that I can get my cat spayed.
So far, I haven't found a single one. Anyway, if someone from Denver, CO could point me to a vet who meets my needs, I would appreciate it!

Btw, my work is extremely strict on hours, so I can't just come in a bit late in order to drop my cat off. Now, if a vet had evening drop off and pick up ( including stay overnight costs ), that would also work.

Thanks!

I usually feed my cat moist canned cat food, but I have run out today and all I have in the house is canned tuna, I cannot get to the grocery store for a few more days. is it bad to feed him half a can of tuna a day? or will it make him sick? Ive only let him have a few spoon fulls before.

I think my cat was bit by a brown recluse or possibly some other spider. The hair has fallen out around the wound and it's red and swollen. He is still eating and drinking fine but he has been sleeping all day.
My husband did some online research and seems to think he'll be fine. We're putting hydrogine proxide on it 3 times a day to kill infection.

Do you think we should take him to the vet anyway or let nature work it's course? Most online researches say although they may have a scar it will work itself out. Any animal experts out there? I only want what is best for kitty.

Only serious answers please! Thanks.

My parents have an outdoor cat. Lately, it's been missing a large amount of hair (patchy) and the patchy area is growing. Could this be ringworm?

He wasn't fixed, had no collar, no tag, no microchip, and no one has responded to "found" flyers or a posting at the SPCA and local vets & Craig's list. I have an Avon customer on that street who is pretty sure he was dumped there. I've gotten him neutered and gotten him his shots and we've decided to call him "Monty". Do you think this is cuter spelled "Monty" like "Monty Python" or "Monte" like "Monte Carlo"?
