He is in heat! You can get him fix then he will be releived of that feeling will not fell the need to you know what!

Or let him go out side and find and female cat and you know what.

He's bored. and he's a nocturnal animal.

Keep him inside... but play with him more often. Give him interactive toys. Hide treats around the house for him to stalk. Play fetch the mousie or chase the feather with him. adopt him a friend. Cats are always less bored in pairs.

To stop the night meowing, try to play with him at night before bed so he will sleep through the night.

Good Luck!

Is your cat fixed? Are there other cats in the neighborhood? Are you sure Miles is a he? If Miles is for sure a boy there may be a cat in heat around that he wants to give some loving to. If Miles turns out to be a she then she may be in heat.

Well, cats are naturally outdoor creatures. Especially with spring coming, he can sense changes in the air and wants to hang in the great outdoors like his ancestors. I let my kitties outside but sit out there with them to make sure they don't wander too far. Pretty soon they learned that when I clapped my hands at them it meant, "I'm gonna start chasing you any minute, come back here!".

Essentially, your cat is bored and wants to be outside. Either let him out or pay extra attention to him: bring him some toys and play with him lots. It's the season for cat-tension.

My cat cries at night too. I just call out her name to let her know I'm in the apartment. I also call her and when she comes to me, I show her love and attention by petting her.

As far as him wanting to go outside, was he ever an outdoor cat? if so, than that's why he wants to go out. Don't give in. Find something else that would make him happy (ex. play with him.)

ask a vet= could be something simple. With my cats I have a bay window and outside I put bird food out on the lawn and around my bay window, I also been feeding the squirrels, so that they can watch them, like cats sneaking up on their quarry, that kind of makes their day. Maybe you need to pick up somes toys. I also bought a cat climber, go to petsmart= they also have a vet there. I'm thinking something to occupy him.

Has the cat been fixed? If not, it is natural for the cat to want outside. It is spring time and mating season for cats.

Its spring fever. And animals are getting to be in heat of the season. Nothing to worry. If it still continues consult a vet. He probably has an health problem. Good luck.

Is he neutered? Perhaps he is yowlin and wantin to o out becuase his hormones are kicking in and he has caught the scent of a female cat in heat. If you have him neutered, that will fix the problem.
