And if there are no syptoms after what period of time will she be considered safe?

They reported that the tainted food had rat poison in it, so your cat would show signs pretty fast. If you think you might have tainted food though I wouldnt risk it!

Days to weeks, depending on the degree of sensitivity and the amount consumed. Apparently individual reaction to the toxin is somewhat variable. You might want to have the cat's blood chemistry checked, just to rule out sub-clinical organ damage.

I would think pretty fast, within a day. It's something when pet owners have to worry if they are giving their pet rat poison. Keep on eye on her, and check for symptoms of rat poisoning-- if there is such a site. Hang in there, you are in good company right now.
