I would take her to the vet to make sure. She is most likely fine, but peace of mind is wonderful.
Watch for increase visits to the litterbox and drinking more. Many cats w acute renal failure act normal, but they start peeing a lot more. If you notice this, don't take her water away, in fact, give her more water or even put something she likes (like tuna) in the water. This diluting effect helps protect the kidneys until a vet can help her.
You can even do this anyway if you are worried.
You didn't poison your cat, you didn't know about this problem. Do not feel bad about this. I see you are a great owner for caring about her.

President's Choice IS in the list of recalled petfood. I understand that the affected petfoods have been removed from the shelves of stores since Saturday. So, if you bouht that President's Choice AFTER the weekend, chances are, it may not be in the batch of recalled cat food. But I also know that Menufoods has extended the scope of the recalled foods to include ALL "cuts and gravey" style foods they have produced irreardless of the date. This is becuase there are still some of the tainted food left on the shelves that some stores have missed pulling out.
As for the onset of symptms, as I understand all the testimonies of people whose pets got sick, their cat (or dog) began to vomit and lose interest in food and become lethargic within 1 to 3 days after eating the tainted food.
If you are worried, take your cat to the vet to have her kidney functions checked.

I'd call Vet and ask recommendations. If he knows signs of the Arsenic Poisoning, he will know if or when your cat should be showing symptoms.
Otherwise, if Kitty is acting fine, thank your lucky stars. Otherwsie be vigilant, but give the Vet a call just the same. If lethargy or other symptoms of any illness shows up, call the VET on call regardles of the hour!
I hope all is well, and you Kitty is okay.

Take her to the vet. Cats only need 30% of their kidneys to function so they have lost 70% before they show symptoms, the vet can do blood tests to see what's happening with the liver and kidneys. Some cats can take weeks to develop symptoms, it depends on their size, how much they were exposed to, how long it stayed in their body and how healthy they were beforehand.

Just to be on the safe side, I would take her to the vet for them to run some tests. This whole situation is very scary for all pet owners..

KYW radio in Philly reported earlier today that cats who died experienced kidney failure. They specifically stated 'menu foods' cat food was analyzed forensically and small amounts of a rodenticide (this substance is no longer used in the US; however it was also a formerly accepted treatment of acute leukemia, for people, in the 1940s), and the name of it escapes me, sorry.

Food gets digested withine a few hours of eating it, if your cat is fine now, then you do not need to worry any further.

No, you didn't poison your cat. If it ingested the poisoned food, Menu Foods poisoned your cat! Jilly has been keeping on top of this and she knows what she is talking about. Her answer best answers your question. My cat was sick the other night and it scared me half to death. But I read Jilly's answer to my question and then watched my cat get better and start catching moths. It turns out my husband had just overfed him. Hahaha.
I hope your cat is ok. Listen to Jilly and I think you;ll do ok.
