I taught mine to fetch. She will bring me just about anything she decides is a toy especially pieces of paper I've tossed at the trash bin but missed. After she brings it I toss it across the room, she brings it back I praise her and so the game goes just like when you teach a dog to fetch. Your cat sounds like mine, she enjoys interaction with her human. Your best bet is to give in. Play with her until she decides she's finished. It will really build the bond between the two of you. Also, if you make it a ritual, as in play a game with her around the same time every day, it will help keep her from "nagging" you.

You can buy or make feather or ribbon wands or fishing rod toys. A piece of string with a fluffy feather tied on it pulled along is a great toy. You can use a needle and thread a table tennis ball onto a string. There are some great interactive toys available but some can be pricey and they don't necessarily last any longer than the cheap ones. Some cats will enjoy just a piece of thin elastic (take it away when you can't supervise for safety)
Fold a small piece of newspaper and tie it to the end of a piece of string or yarn. Whiz it around the room. Your cat will go crazy chasing after it.
Attach a small plush toy to a piece of string then tie the string to the stick. Dangle in front of your cat. (McDonalds Happy Meal soft toys are good for this)
We have one cat who likes to play with pencils or pens, we wiggle them for her and she will grab them out of our hands, it's a pain in the neck when the kids are doing homework though lol
Use your imagination and be creative pipe cleaners, pom poms, all sorts of things can be used, just keep them for play with you for safety reasons, don't let them alone with them. Cats don't care how much they cost just as long as they're having fun with you.

Depends on the cat. My older cat all you have to do is rub his tummy and play time begins. While my kitten on the otherhand just amuses herself with the simple things around the house (ie: boxes, dust, my pant strings, ect.) Just figure out her personality and what she enjoys the most.
Thought, I totally recommend a lazer pointer. My cats spaz over the pointer, which is good fun for the pet and the owner ^-^

1.Get some sort of string.
2.Put the string near.
3.Pull back slowly.
She should start chasing the string.I had a cat she played with string alot and I have a cat she used to play with a string. But,we think she might be pregnant so she doesn't play with much anymore.

My cats love those toys that look like little fishing poles with feathers and stuff at the end of the string. You can dangle them over the cats and they will jump and paw at them trying to catch them.

If you have plain paper make a ball out of it and throw it up in the air and they will bat at it. or take a piece of yarn and drag it on the ground they will run after it. you can even take material and and lay it flat and put your hand underneath it and wiggle it around they will jump at it. There are many ways to play with a cat. My cat jumps in the air and bats at the paper that i throw up in the air. And she will run around her cat tent.

You can teach a cat to fetch just like you do a dog. Get a ball, or something like that and teach it to chase it and bring it back to you. It can be hours of fun for both of you.

throw thick, big rubber bands(make sure its big and thick or else he/she might sallow it) and let your cat jump around and get it/ play with it.
also a good way to play with is to get an blanket and put a stick under it and move it around. the cat will think its very weird and try to get it.
