Okay. I have one cat Sophi who's quite healthy. My other cat Tigger used to be healthy and active and all. We got him neuered and now he's REALLY fat! He's round 16-18 pounds. He's pretty heavy. It's like holding a two yearold. (i know this, i have a nephew!) Is there a diet I can put him on that works? I've lowered his food rations, but he eats Sophi's food too. she lets him, so he does it when we're not looking. He goes outside, but doesn't do much out there. Is there somethin I can do for him? He can't run right and he waddles and my nephew and nieces are scared of him cus he's so fat. What should I do? (And i won't get rid of him!)

Umm....My cat Sophi sleeps more than other cats. She doesn't sleep lightly or anything and if you were to walk up while she was sleeping, she would jump. Most cats don't do that....they usually know you're there.(or so my mom says....) If she's asleep, no matter where, she'll start twitching and then she'll jump. My mom says it looks and seems like nightmares........She recently had a really bad one and she jumped off the couch, hit an end table, then hit the coffee table. she went a total of around three feet away from the couch. Her face or body will start twitching. It starts out small, then she totally flips out. Is she having nightmares? I called the vet and they said it might be seizures. What's going on with my cat?

So there is this cat that we found living outside our house and it is
-20 degrees out. We found an ad that it has been missing for close to 50 days. We captured it and it is not a friendly cat at all, we have been feeding it and hope to return it to its owners soon. The owners said it would run out every chance it had. It has sprayed inside our house, so we kept our other cats away from him, he seems to be very stubborn and not want to go anywhere or do anything at all. Since it is wild he is not a people cat. It is so cold that we had to rescue it before it froze to death. Should we return it to its owners or release him outside our house and continue feeding it? It seems happier outside. Im afraid that if we give it back to the owners, that if it escapes again it would be more prone to death. I do not want to give it up to animal control.

I would appreciate helpful advice from genuine people who care about cats...and no suggestions I bring them to shelters to be euthanised please.
I moved into a neighborhood with dozens of cats living on the streets...many had been born there, not one was desexed or chipped. I have now rescued, desexed, chipped, vaccinated, FIV & FELv tested over 20 of them & I'm trying to find loving homes for them. They are all now in foster care, and I am paying all their expenses. Surrendering them to a shelter or group is not an option. I set up a website designed to get them into homes a few months ago...at first it got lots of traffic, and I got lots of emails. Now it's quietened down & I'm not getting any more emails from potential adopters. I really want to get them into loving homes, and would appreciate advice re sprucing up the website to get better results, that is, to get these gorgeous kitties into loving homes. The site is
http://www.kittiesinthehood.com
Thanks so much from the cats

My cat is not really a kitten not really an adult, someone dumped him outside our apartment so I took him in. He screams all night long and I cant stand it. He has food, water, kitty box everything. But he just sits in the hallway screaming. He keeps waking up my son, and my hubby and I cant sleep. I tried keeping him awake all day (someone told me to) but it dosent matter. What can I do???

I just moved with my 8 year old cat who is generally unsociable anyways. We moved in with two friends of mine that already have 2 kittens and a dog at the house. She is very scared and won't stop hissing and growling at everyone? What can I do to make her more comfortable?

I have an 8 month old boy cat..we were letting him outside but he seems to be getting into too many fights and such..I can't afford to take him to the vet on a weekly basis..we took him to get fixed but he had a infection from one of his fights so we couldnt.. But we are keeping inside so he wont get hurt. I am going to take him to the vet next week again to have him fixed but until then the odor is terrible...i know he is mad so could he be sprayin in his litter pan or is it just strong urine from the infection..any advice on the urine problem or help getting him to be happy inside would help!

Hi. I found a teacup Persian breeder who could sell me a cute kitty for $600. I am just worried about health and the max 5lbs the kitty would reach at maturity. Is it a good price for the kitten and if so, are there any risks? This is my first kitten. Thanks!

Ok here is the thing--My cat is already fat---big belly and all. We have had her since before thanksgiving--She eats ALOT--anyway I have tried to check for things cause she acted really funny for 2 days but seems to be better. Eating habits are fine. I have felt for big nipples--she doesnt have big nipples--heck I have a hard time finding them. She is back acting normal--There are days I have to make her go outside--She hates outside and stays around the house all times. I have an appointment to get her spayed as She is a stray but whoever had her took really good care of her so she may already be--not for sure. Anyway her belly is alittle firm but has always been like that--Is there any other way to tell? I dont now if I need to get ready for kitten or not--please give me some GOOD advice. Thanks!!

why does my cat always get hyper jump on top of wallunits
and drawers and knocks all my **** down then rips holes in my schoolbag goes inside rips up all my school ****.

he's neutered and like 7 months old he wasn't like that before.
for some reason now he loves to knock stuff down and tear paper into peices.

Driving me ******* insane.
What I do is throw him in the closet and leave him there for an hour until he is calm but when he comes out he just does the same goddamn thing.
