Hi Lulah...consider Nature's Miracle Just For Cats found worldwide at most pet stores. It's an enzymatic neutralizer which works by breaking down urine proteins by thoroughly soaking the areas affected and allowing to air dry. Repeated applications are necessary for heavily soiled areas.

Vinegar, Vinegar, Vinegar - wet a washcloth with it and rub the area if you're worried about just pouring it on. I'd soak a washcloth in applecider vinegar and let is sit on the spot for a while.

Also, should it happen again, this is a great recipe for removing cat urine odor from carpet. Start by blotting up as much of the urine as possible with old rags or paper towels. Next mix 3 parts water with one part vinegar and saturate the spot. Dry thoroughly using the same method mentioned above. Once dry, sprinkle the area with baking soda. Next mix ¾ cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution with one tsp. dish detergent and sprinkle over the baking soda. Try this first on a small inconspicuous area of the carpet to make sure the hydrogen peroxide won’t discolor your carpet. Next, use your fingers or an old brush to work the baking soda in. I’ve used an old hairbrush with little bits of plastic over the tips with good results. Allow this to dry and vacuum it up. If there’s still a slight odor when done, lather, rinse and repeat.

I have 6 cats at the moment, and on the odd occasion one will make a "mistake". When that happens I wash to spot with a mop and hot water with bleach, then I spray the location (and a little bit around) with straight vinegar (white works the best I found) from a spray bottle. The vinegar eliminates the odour, and the cats hate the smell so they avoid that spot again. Good luck!

While I only tried this with dog urine, and only in Canada -- I have used soda water with or without baking soda -- to neutralize the odor.

use white vinegar - not ammonia because urine has ammonia in it and will make her want to go there more.
