I'm new to owning a cat and well recently I've had some issues with it. At first I thought I've had some B.O. problems but it turns out I'm not. I actually smell pretty good. But people around me seems to be reacting to something I bring in to the environment I enter. Some told me about cat piss and stuff so I'm not sure. I can't seem to get rid of the cat hair in one of my coat but now that my bedroom is cat-free and I still wash my clothes weekly and they smell pretty good even if I wore them all day. Someone said wash your clothes and pretty much everything with vinegar. Will that work? They seem to be having some kind of allergic reaction to my presence and I know I don't smell because they still enjoy my company....they just sneeze a lot. Help!!! I don't even know where to begin to figure it out? Could it be mold or something in my clothing?

I have a male kitty and he is almost 1. he is a short haired domestic cat . all of a sudden it seems like he prefers everyone in the house more than me he will sit with my daughter . he will sleep with my husband on his side of the bed and last night he slept in my daughters sink . he still sometimes will sleep ont the head board above my head but not as often . the only time he comes around me now is when he wants fed I have never had a cat ignore me before . so for me this is new territory . is it because he is a male cat ? or does he just not like me at all ? or is it because now he is older he has no use for me at all ? when he was a kitten he would cuddle and sleep and play with me . now when I try to play he takes his toys and plays on his own . I would appreciate any help and feedback
thank you

he is nearly 2 years old.
he is an indoors cat as he never wants to be outside.

he is a bit overweight and he has been neutered. so he is mainly on a diet dry cat food which he has been fed in a weighed amount since august on the vets recommendation.

he has always been alright with this and usually leaves a bit, but for the past 2 weeks he is constantly been begging for more food and sniffing round the kitchen when i have been cooking.
i cant work out why?

any ideas?

Dill is 15. For the last few years he has been a bit unpredicatable with his toilet habbits but now you have to watch the little monkey all the time. He will trot off to our hall or bathroom and squat down pee or poo. He has access to a cat flat and goes out but has been known to come in to do it! He also meows sometimes if he is alone in a room like he is in agony you open the door and all ok. With have got a coal shed and he has messed in there too its discusting. We have tried him with a tray which he will use if he feels like it but would rather do elsewhere! He appears healthy. Can cats go demented? I don't feel that he should be shut out as too old but I have a young baby and obviusly conserned about health. Any ideas?

He is very well taken care of, lives like the king of the jungle, but if he keeps on having late night conversation which wake my baby, walk all over my head when I am sleeping, he will be an alley cat real soon!
Just joking for you animal lovers, But how do I get him to be quiet? He talk ALOT and at night he likes to jump into my babys crib, walk all over my head when im sleeping and go up and down the steps all night long!

Is it possible for a kitten or cat to not know how to hiss? he's around 10 months old lastnight and the other night i was fighting with him to clip his back claws and he would release air like a human sigh, but no hiss. Sometimes ive even tried to make him hiss to see if he could, nothing! He was born with a viral problem so he's usually stuffy and his meows dont come out completely. But my question is, is it possible to a cat to never hiss?

My cat stares at me sometimes. Some days her eyes are half open and I think she loves me or is sleepy. Other days I think she's only keeping me around to feed her and change the litter.

If I were to get a cat, what vaccinations would I need to give her regularly, how often and how much would they cost? The cat has had her first innoculations, has been neutered and micro-chipped.

He will run around the house sometimes with his "raccoon" tail going. He somehow puffs his tail out. He is a 4 year old neutered male, if this helps.

We have an 19wk stray kitten who loves to play. Our 12 year old cock-a -poo doesn't always feel like playing with her. They end up sparring a little but the kitten almost always wins and hurts the dog's feelings because the dog doesn't always know the kitten is playing; and trust me, I have scratches all over me, the kitten plays a little rough. What can I do?

I have recently moved my full grown adult spayed cat 1,800 miles across the country. She was prior an indoor cat at an appartment with another cat. Now, she has had the freedom to roam around, and be outside for the last four and a half months. We will be moving back to the same appartment that we lived in, and she will be there with the other cat. Will I have a tough time getting the cat to adapt to it's new enviornment? If so, what can I do to help ease the process?
