When i got my cat she was a kitten and eventually went into heat also and all i could do was comfort her...i would pet her a lot and give her treats and talk to her and i think that is probably all you can do for her.

Unfortunately, once a female cat goes into heat, she will do so again and again (as often as every two weeks) until she is either: a) pregnant or b) spayed. It *is* extremely uncomfortable for her and will get worse rather than better. Your veterinarian may be able to give her shots to make her more comfortable. At one time, they gave male hormones for this purpose, but I think that practice has been discontinued.

Do you REALLY want to know what you can do? It's wierd but I promise you it's what some breeders do to with their champion females.. They use a cotton bud mosistened with some baby oil and insert it into the female. Kinda like a kitty dildo. This is to simulate mating and ovulation in the female. It is supposed to help her get over being in heat faster because females ovulate after mating.. It won't really harm her to just wait it out though. (as maddenning as it may seem to you right now).

Introducing her to a neutered male can help. When I had a foster kitten in heat (she had just finished nursing and couldn't be spayed yet), my neutered male was happy to oblige. It seemed to stop her. LOL

I think u just have to let her go through it. We just had our kitty spayed, so I really don't know. I'm sorry, good luck!

Unfornately, you must deal with it until this phase is over! Do not let her go outside...plus, you may see male cats hanging around your place! Good luck!

Unfortunately, I don't know of anything you can do. From all of my experience as well as from what I've seen at my friends' houses, it just seems to pass. It seems that it only lasts a few days. Good luck!

As far as I know there is nothing you can do to help her.
You just have to deal with the crying until it's over.
Do not allow her to get out.

Call and ask the Vet what you can do. I don't know of a thing you can do.

there's not much u can do. just let her do her thing she does even if it gets really annoying and try not to pet her by her back end.
