I just moved with my 8 year old cat who is generally unsociable anyways. We moved in with two friends of mine that already have 2 kittens and a dog at the house. She is very scared and won't stop hissing and growling at everyone? What can I do to make her more comfortable?

Keep her in a room apart from the other animals and let her meet them gradually. and you could use a plug-in liquid that calms them down, called Feliway.

That poor cat is probably soooo scared. Can you imagine moving in with a dog and 2 kittens when it has just been her?

She may not accept this living situation at all ever. The best thing you can do is make your room off limits to everyone but your cat, so at least she can feel safe.

Not much she will eventually adjust. Put her in a place where only she can go. Like you room. She needs to have place for just her that she is able to retreat to.
