I have three cats who are all neutered and well adjusted. Recently my girlfriend's best friend moved into our spare room, and brought her older male cat with her. Problem is, he is territorial and he is spraying all over. The house smells like piss, and it's not acceptable. The cat, Millie, is about 6 years old, strong, and seems to be in great health.

I'm wondering if Millie is too old to be neutered? I've done some research which has indicated to me that neutering might be a good option, but she is skeptical and I'd like to get some more feedback and experience on this issue. I appreciate all your answers.

I have three cats, all litter mates and are 6 years old. Two of them are quite active and are normal cats! The third cat is huge!! Shes tall and long and very over weight, (weighs about 8kg!). We regularly take them all to the vet and have followed their advice about her weight and bought special diet food - still she is huge! She doesn't like going out outside at all, and just eats and sleeps. She won't play with us and toys we buy her. WHAT CAN DO TO HELP HER?? I have to be careful as our neighbour feeds the cats despite our begging her not to and telling her that they are on special diets. Help!

My little boy is a huge fluff ball. He is just all fur and is looking so rugged lol. The problem is he absolutely hates the brush. I have tried being so gentle and using a soothing voice and petting him at the same time. I got scratched I let him inspect the brush and see that it isn't scary and he tries to eat it. I have tried different brushes even.

He just hates it and refuses to let me brush him. He will purr as I brush him lol and I know it must feel nice for him but he still wants to kill the brush. Maybe he is just too playful. Maybe he just feels the brush is his nemisis. I dont know lol

But it is to the point where he has to be brushed. Any advice or tips? How can I do it without getting my arm scratched all up really? lol

I'm looking for a female kitten, who needs a good home. Preferably Free and within a 25 mile radius of East Lansing/Bath area. Also, the younger the better. I've searched the adds in the newspaper and there was nothing and I've also went to stores and pet stores to look on the bulletins and there was nothing. Please let me know if you have what I'm looking for. Thank You So Much.

When i give my cat a bath and i dry her off she starts twitching and trys to lay down but has to keep moving, she can't sleep for about 3-4 hours after her bath we asked the vet and she said it was a seziure but my cat only acts like that after her bath. Is she allergic to the cat shampoo or what's wrong?

Before Lexx went missing, I had 2 cats, Lexx and Stanley. Both males under a year, really good playmates. Lexx disappeared about 4 months back and in Jan I got another kitten, Marmite, Female. Stan & Marmite also became good playmates. Yesterday afternoon, Lexx was found! Hungry, skinny, but in one piece. He is the same affectionate cat towards me and he recognises home, but his attitude towards the other cats is not inspiring me with confidence. After some raised hackles encounters, he has settled into growling whenever he sees them in the room. The other two aren't retaliating, just curious and wary. Lexx is now in the bedroom for the day (with necessities) so Stan and Marmite have the benefit of the catdoor and the house. Is there any hope of Lexx coming round with love and reassurance or am I doomed to always have an under current of tension running through the place? (nb. Stan is fixed, Marmite is too young for a little while and Lexx is entire, but not for long.)

My kitten has been acting sick for a little while, we tried everything, end eventually took her to the vet yesterday, they said she has eaten something she shouldnt had, and she was becoming dehydrated bc of it. so they said theyd keep her until 6 ish on ivs. well they called then and said they would reccomend keeping her on it all night. i didnt want to leave her bc there is no person there from 6 until they opened this morning. but everyone told me i had to to make her better. we were supposed to hear today if she needed surgery to get what was in her out. well, they called this morning and she died last night. she had a seizure. how did she have a seizure? was it bc of the iv's? was it bc of what was in her stomache. if i would have not left her over night, would this have happened? please help, anyone who knows anything about this kind of thing.
