I have 3 cats which all came to me as kittens. What you need to do is monitor when the cat is eating or drinking. After the cat feeds take him/her to the litter box and scratch his/her paws in the litter. He/She may want to jump out or try to play but sit with her/him for a while and continue to do this. Normally after the kitten eats or drinks within about 10 mins or so he/she will have to use the litter so you need to be on top of his/hers eating and drinking. You will have a few accidents a long the way, it's just like potty training a child. Be patient and it will happen.

About 10 mins or so after the cat eats, take her to the litter box and show her where to go to the bathroom, you have to keep this up for while, the cat will get use to the routine and to know where to go to the bathroom, I t will take time the kitten is new to it's surroundings

Oh that is so very young to litter train! However, there are smaller litter boxes just for kittens. You need something very shallow for now. Just pick her up and and place her in the shallow litter box along with some of her feces..She will get the idea soon. But for now, have patience. I raised a newborn myself. Took a bit of doing i must say.

This means that you had this kitten at about 2 weeks of age which is too young to be taken from the mother, however I don't know the circumstances (Mother was killed, died ,abandoned kitties?)Its so nice that you are taking such good care of the little one, you are truly her mother. Just keep putting her into the litter box, and she should get the idea. They are very smart, but you will have to teach her . I do believe a lot of this is instinct, but I would just keep putting her into the litter box,.

About a year ago, we got a 4 wk old non- litter trained baby cat, what we did was put her litter box in a place she was most often, then every time we saw her "hinting" we took her over to her litter box. Cats are very domesticated, so she should catch on quickly.

put her in the litter box and scratch her paw in the litter. Do this after she eats every time, in the morning etc. Any time you think of it. It won't take long for her to understand. Just be sure and keep her box clean so she doesn't opt for a cleaner potty area.

What worked almost instantly for my 8wk old kitten was to put her poop (she had made a mess elsewhere) into her litter box and left it in the same small room with her for a few days. She took to it right away. Make sure you thoroughly clean the other mess areas though so she doesn't get confused with the smell.

put the litter box in the bathroom and when you think its time for a bathroom break take her to that room and see if she gets it
most cats like to dig up dirt (litter) when they have to go, just like they would outside) so they basically learn themselves when they see this big box of litter!

You put her in a room with a litter box, a small room and until she has to go and she'll go in the litter box. Same with my cats.

Take any feces that you find and put in litter box, then take kitten to box so she can smell it. Also after she's fed and if you catch her squatting pick her up and take her to the litter box. Good Luck!
