Absolutely. Animals, especially cats and dogs, have special abilities to know when something isn't right or seems out of the ordinary. That's why dogs make such good care takers for people with disabilities such as people who have seizures. They're able to sense the onset of the seizures and they're able to warn their human companion that they're about to have one. I definitely believe an animal chooses to comfort you at a time in need such as being sick. Your body releases different chemicals and scents when you're sick and that's what they're able to pick up on. My 15 year old dog still does the same thing. He will not leave my side when I'm sick. And when I cry, he tries to get right in my face and lick me and he throws his whole body at me. It's amazing what abilities animals have. That's why I love my dog so much! It almost feels like he cares about me more than my own kind sometimes! Animals are extremely loyal to their human friends, no doubt!

Yes, cats are very in tune to their human and when something is not right. My cat is the same way, he will sleep with me if I am sick and pay extra attention to me. If I am crying, he will console me, lay at my head and purr. Even in the am when I take my shower, when I am not sick, he will lay on the rug in front of the shower until I get out, then move to the hallway, almost like he's guarding me. They are very loyal to their owners and want to make them feel better.

Yes, JJ knows you are, sick but be careful not to cough on him, because my mom was really sick for a week and my cat did not leave her sight, and then 2 days later my cat was sick under the bed with my mom. Cats are very smart. Feel better.

AAAWWWW! What a sweet kitty and SMART!! They always give credit to dogs that do this and personally I've never heard of a cat doing this, but there is no other explaination! Him loves you and is worried about you! That is SO cool! My cat would look at me and say, "As soon as you get done pukin' - can you pet me - I got things to do - people to see - places to go!" Give him some tuna or something better than dry cat food for being such a good kitty doctor! Get well soon!

Yes animals know when we are sick and the closer they feel to you the more attentive they will be.
My mother had a cat that would climb on her chest as she was sitting in her chair and put his nose on her nose. She was dying of cancer and the cat knew something was terribly wrong. He could sense that she was very sick. He wouldn't leave her for anything except to go to the bathroom.

Yes anipmals can sense when things are happening and even when they are about to happen. There are many cases of "dogs" watching over epileptic humans when they are having seizures. The dogs can even predict before the human will have them as well. Animals have senses we do not. We, being humans, are usually prone to believing we know everything but I think there are some things in this world we cannot discover.

Cathee, that's an engaging question and you rightfully deserve a famous guy or woman! anyhow, I do have faith that the great hype for the Mayweather vs Pacquaio combat has been overhyped noticeably via the media via concept given to the prevalent public that there isn't any different significant and mythical combat to swap Pacquaio vs Mayweather. the two warring parties have already crushed destiny hall of famers, subsequently that's barely achieveable for them to combat one yet another. although if the two warring parties do no longer meet and trust their negotiations, it does no longer hardship me one bit.i'd desire to make comments approximately it one way or yet another, yet i might proceed to be as partial to boxing and seem on the different constructive attributes that the sport can grant the followers. I even have enormous appreciate for each guy or woman who make contributions to our communicate board, it would not hardship me one bit in the event that they ask the comparable questions or answer the comparable solutions. the only element that possibly are turning out to be to me slightly is the point of un-professionalism, racism, and backlash thrash talking between the followers. I in basic terms desire that we are able to mature and appreciate each others differences via fact it is the only way for us to strengthen individually and as a team contributing in this Y.an excellent communicate board. :-)

I have four cats and I am sure they pick up on our emotions or our illnesses. My cats laid over my ankles when I fell down the stairs and sprained them both, My Tammy cat put her paws on the toilet seat and laid her head on her paws when I had morning sickness so bad with my pregnancy. When my daughter was home recovering from gall bladder surgery the cats one by one went and tried to lay over her tummy. Yes they know when we are sick or emotionally hurt. After my divorce my cats would do crazy little stunts and I am convinced they were trying to make me laugh as I was very depressed. Cats are the greatest

Yes animals can tell when your ill.I had a fever a few months ago and my dogs kept whining and sitting staring at me which is unusual. My cat spent as much time as possible on my leg.
When they were out (separately) my rats and cockatiel were odd too.Only the gerbils didn't seem to notice but they're hyper.

I think they were trying to comfort me.

My dog does the same thing, whether I am sick or just upset. She will even sit in my lap and lick the tears off my face when I cry. You are very lucky to have that close of a realtionship with your cat.
