Are you thinking about a Persian or Himalayan I had a Persian it was black and now I own a gorgeous white Himalayan with grey points on the ears, paws, tail, and a bit oh her face she weights 6 pounds but looks much bigger do to her long coat.

The Maine Coon is the largest domestic cat breed. They are usually silver (gray) tabby colored -- at least the ones I've seen.
