I can't leave a bra on the floor at any time. for some reason my cat always picks them up & carries them around any time i do!! it's really weird. he doesn't do it with any other type of clothing, only bras! anyone else ever see this behavior, and what could it be about bras he likes so much?

I don't think it's the straps as many have said...he doesn't try to play w/the straps, he only picks the bra up by the cup & just carries it around.

He likes the straps. I have a kitten that will carry anything around in his mouth, and another one that loves to chew on plastic buckles and such (so I don't leave bras down, since I don't need them being chewed up or hidden!!!).

My cats LOVE my shoes...Every now and then a bra goes missing for a few days only to return under a rug or pillow...There is something with the smell that they like. Leave 'em be. Stock up on bras and let 'em have fun. Really, nothing to worry about

I wouldn't worry to much about your cats obsession. It probably likes the smell of you, or maybe if a lot of your bras are made from the same material it could like the feeling it has.
I seen that someone said to put your bras on your dresser but if your cat is anything like mine, it will just get it there too. I can't seem to cat proof my house. She goes everywhere.
Cat's are funny creatures, but I love em'.

Mine stole my roommates bathing suit top before. I think it was the strings. The straps on the bra are probably the same way, enticing because they're something string-like. Oh, mine's run off with pants that have a drawstring on them before too. haha. It's funny to find things in random places after the cats take them.

It's probably just the fact that it has your scent on it and that is easy to carry around. The bra, being next to your body probably has a lot of your scent. That's cute!!!

Never seen a cat like bras....probably likes the straps. My mother had a cat that liked one of her slippers...He used to carry it around in his mouth and yowl. I think he thought it was a mate or something...also, your cat mike like that your bra smells like you (not saying you stink..) both my cats like to sleep on my clothing that I have worn..especially nightshirts.

perhaps because it smell like you. My cat drags around sweaters or t-shirts and once she dragged a king size sheet up from the basement. I lost a sweater I loved once only to see the cat streak across the basement with it in her mouth.
