can I do?

He's home from work today, thought the cat (always indoors) would like the snow and ice, put a harness on him and had him slipping around out there "skating" trying to make a funny video ... probably for about a half an hour.

He finally brings the cat back in the house, and the cat is limping and can barely walk .. he calls me all in a panic!

I told him to take the cat to the vet immediately, but he's afraid to drive in the snow, and I can't leave work.

Help, anyone know what I can do?

the owner of the shop said that as soon as the mice smell the kitten the will run away from the house. as the owner said the mice did go and problem was then solved, as the kitten got older we started letting it outdoors for a few months and letting it in for feeding and SOME nights, but now the mice problem has hit back home, we have brought the kitten back in, from past experiences or known Knowledge are the mice going to run away from the house again??
or is they anything else i can do to make the mice go (without harming my kitten?

I adopted a pair of brother cats from a neighbor that has taught them to kiss the face (not the mouth) of a person if they want to be petted. Has anyone heard of this? One family member says I should not let them do it to me because of germs, another says it could exfoliate my face the way a good lufah can and its good bonding with the cats. Not sure what to do, any advice would be helpful.

My cat is evil. He must be stopped. He attacks for fun and hates all other animals. I think he is plotting my demise right now. So should I look for a good exorcist....and are there pet exorcists?.....or should I just sleep with one eye open, or possibly swear my allegiance and be his lowly peon if he will just spare me the brutal attacks? Oh god here he comes...

My dog has had a problem, that I don't know exactly what it is. She was spayed about a year ago and that was when the issue arised. She leaks a clear liquid from her vagina, it smells sometimes and other times it doesn't. It doesn't seem to bother her either, she doesn't have problems urinating and there is no blood in her stools or urine. Also it only happens every now and then. she will leak maybe a couple times a day two or three times a week, and then it will stop for a long time. What could this be?

My old roommate gave my girl and I a cat named Blizz because he was unable to take it to his new home....anyway I'll give you guys a small history about Blizz...This cat has a weird personality he was raised with a jack russell ( both pup and kitten) the cat thinks he's a dog, like's to eat dog food(doesn't eat anymore)and plays like a dog I'm surprised this cat doesn't bark yet..lol. besides all that I started to take notice that he was doing some odd behaviors..like for an example... after the cat is done taking a dump(not that I'm sitting there watching him) and comes out he will go back in 5 more times to do Something with the cat liter and then he will scrape his pawls on the side of the stinker box about 5,6 times.. so all together he will spend (no lie) 5 minutes doing all that crazy stuff... could this cat have a obsessive compulsive disorder.. can some one tell me why this crazy cat does that?

It looks like my kitten dislocated her hip or leg, she started limping this morning she was doing it when we woke up. The vet won't give an estimate on the cost over the phone we made an appointment for this evening. But I'd like to know about how much it's going to cost since I mught have to find someone to borrow money from. I feel so bad for her and will find a way to afford it. Has anyone had to get this problem taken care of and know how much it costs?

When my cat comes by me, any part of my body (face, arm, hand, etc.) that is near her, she will sit there and lick and lick and lick...Almost to the point of too much! Why does she do this? I know people have a salty taste on their skin, and that animals are attracted to that, but she does it SO much that there could not be anything left....She is the sweetest thing, and I love her "kisses", but I was just wondering why it is so excessive?

We adopted our cat on Saturday and her cold has been getting worse each day. We put her in the bathroom with the bath steam on to get some moisture into her nose. She's wheezing/gasping for air, and sneezing/coughing almost constantly. She's lethargic and sleeping a lot. She's not eating much. We have a call to the vet but would like to know about other remedies/OTC medicine we could try to help her.

My cat has swollen, sometimes bloody sores, or abcesses on his mouth right under his nose. They don't seem to hurt him. I have taken him to the vet where they give him a shot of some sort of steiroid. This seems to help at first, but the sores keep comming back. The vet said that she didn't know exactly what they were, but that they were caused by allergies. She suggested that he could be allergic to fleas, but my cat is an indoor cat and he has no fleas. I was wondering if anyone out there has had experience with this problem before, and if so, are there any good home remedies? Going to the vet and paying $60.00 for one shot is getting rediculous.

I recently got a cat who was once a stray, so he's afraid of everything. He'll let me pet him but as far as picking him up or letting me hold him or come in my lap, he won't do it. He'll just run and hide. He's pretty new, so I know he needs more time, but are there ways to get a cat to sit in your lap and let you hold them if they aren't naturally going to do that?

I have a 12-year-old male cat who is neutered and declawed. He has lived indoors his entire life. For the past several months, he has been urninating on lots of things, especially items that belong to my children. He has urinated on my son's bean bag chair, my daughter's rug, my daughter's coat, etc... We have made sure that we keep his litter box clean and he continues to do it. Is this something that is common in older cats, or is he angry about something, or could it be a health problems. We are seriously considering getting rid of him because it is taking a lot of time to clean up his messes and he is ruining a number of objects. We hate to get rid of him because he's been around for so long.

I have a 7 month old kitten who's constantly doing things just to spite me now. He never used to get on tables and shelves until recently. He knows he's not suppose to be up there, he starts a game where he'll get up and when I get up to get him down he jumps down. He chews on EVERYTHING because he's loosing and growing teeth. We got him neutered and I know he's still a kitten, but around what age will they start calming down, because he really tests me some days lol.
