It looks like my kitten dislocated her hip or leg, she started limping this morning she was doing it when we woke up. The vet won't give an estimate on the cost over the phone we made an appointment for this evening. But I'd like to know about how much it's going to cost since I mught have to find someone to borrow money from. I feel so bad for her and will find a way to afford it. Has anyone had to get this problem taken care of and know how much it costs?

I think more than anything is depends where you live. I've read of things costing $500 on here and paying only $85 in my area. Someone the other day was saying over $250 for shots and check up. If I had to pay that I would not be able to have any. It will be expensive anywhere if it needs to have surgery but I don't think anyone can really give you an idea how much it will cost unless they are from your area.

I have a cat who is 7 hears of age and dislocated his hip. His discloation was more severe though after exrays they noticed he actually pulled his hip ball out of the joint which is very rare. He had to have surgery which ran me over 900.00. That is not including the cost of the inital exrays at the vets office or blood work they needed to take. However the reason the cost was so high is again it was a rare case and my cat needed to go to a specialist. I am very sorry to hear about that happening and i hope you can afford to take care of this matter asap.

Hard to tell you when we don't know your area and what is really wrong with your cat. The thing is you will have to do what is right for the cat. That is what I keep saying on here pets are not free and it is expensive to own them.
