My dog has had a problem, that I don't know exactly what it is. She was spayed about a year ago and that was when the issue arised. She leaks a clear liquid from her vagina, it smells sometimes and other times it doesn't. It doesn't seem to bother her either, she doesn't have problems urinating and there is no blood in her stools or urine. Also it only happens every now and then. she will leak maybe a couple times a day two or three times a week, and then it will stop for a long time. What could this be?

She is over all really healthy. Well fed and watered along with being up to date on her shots.

I am having the same problem with my 3 yr old female. Only she will actually pee while in a sound sleep. It's hormones! Some females do this even if they've been spayed awhile and they just need a urine test to make sure there is no infection and if not they need to be on a hormone pill. I just found this out within the last few weeks. The hardest part is getting the urine test! Good Luck
