When my cat comes by me, any part of my body (face, arm, hand, etc.) that is near her, she will sit there and lick and lick and lick...Almost to the point of too much! Why does she do this? I know people have a salty taste on their skin, and that animals are attracted to that, but she does it SO much that there could not be anything left....She is the sweetest thing, and I love her "kisses", but I was just wondering why it is so excessive?

Sounds like she's grooming you. :-) It is adorable, but I agree it can get annoying. One of mine used to do it constantly. Just gently discourage her - distract her, groom her in return (pet her), or just gently move her face away (but keep petting her, you don't want her to think she's not wanted). Another trick I used to use on mine is that I'd move his tail (or foot) under his tongue and get him to groom himself. That usually worked.

Only one of my cats does this. all the time. Hands legs feet. Not the face. It is just what they do.

What your cat is doing is normal. It's kind of a bonding thing. She knows what you look like, smell like, and taste like.
