So, I have a male kitten, about 7 months old. He is extremely noisy, meowing at everything as he walks around the apartment. Of course he likes to explore, but it is extremely disruptive when he yowls all of the time. He is neutered, is well fed, always has the attention of myself or my girlfriend whenever he wants it... so these things are not an issue. It seems that he is looking for something and crying about it, but then out of no where he stops crying and doesn't do it again for an hour or so.
So again, please don't say that he is lonely/in pain/hungry .. those aren't the case. If anyone has had any experience with a randomly yowling cat please let me know how you stopped the problem!
Thanks

I have a ten year old female cat who wakes up at around 4am every morning. she jumps up on my cd player which creakes loadly and stretches on the wall to get my attention. So i have to get up half alseep and let her out. I dont like letting her out that early in case she fights with other cats (and im not a morning person!)
She always wants to go outside at night too, i think shes got a boyfriend :)
How do i stop this?

She was spayed 9 days ago with stiches inside her and just glue on the outside. I have been told that if they can go outside they can have a bath. But I worry about the water and soap becoming irrating to her.

Is it normal for them to crawl under cubbards and hide for days on end till you find them by accident? We got her a couple weeks ago and she disappeared a day later. I thought my roommates let her outside. We looked for her for 3 days straight and gave up cause she wasnt here long enough to know this was her home. About a week ago she gave herself away and we've had to keep her in the bathroom so that she doesnt get under there again. Shes a very sweet cat but the people that gave her to us didnt tell me she was anything like this. How can I brake her of this so that she doesnt want to hide where we cant get her? She loves to cuddle but as soon as u get up and move shes off and running. Please help I dont want to take her to the pound.

Well, I have this idea here it is. When you go camping or are sick and cant walk to the rest room, I was thinking about a portapotty and instead of useing water you use cat litter. why not? The expensive stuff soaks up very well, and you can use something to cover it up when yr done. No smell no mess and you can use it several times befor you empty it. What yall think? Also cat litter is a fantastic hideing place for anything you dont want found. I use to hide my whiskey bottle under the cat litter, I mean under the litter in the box. My husband never found it. You could hide a yr valuables in it and no theif would ever look there! Yes if it has real poop thats even better! Am I brilliant or what?

My cat Fritter always sits up with his 2 front paws on his tail. It's as though he's guarding it and is afraid it's going to run away or something.... Anyone else have a kitty that does that??

So many people have no idea about IAMs. Their advertising is so slick and sweet, how could you not believe them?
Please just read through the site..im not here to preach to you but I was assigned to write an article about a issue in our society and I was researching about animal cruelty and I found this..

I'd like to hear peoples opinions on this.

Declawing a cat when it is young for an indoor life is no different or more cruel than circumcising a male baby. I was circumcized, and have absolutely no recollection of it whatsoever and am glad I was. The cats are fully anesthetized and will feel nothing. It is fine to do it to a youngster.
(oh and if anyone here wants to say that circumcision happens immediately after birth... I have a friend that was circumsized when he was 20).

Additionally, many apartment complexes and rentals do not allow cats that have not been declawed. So not declawing your cat may limit your rental opportunities in the future.

I feel terrible! He is so pathetic! What can I do to help the swelling in his paws go down? His ears are warm too like he might have fever! I will never do this to a poor cat again!

We only do it when we run out of our usual wet food. Is it bad for them or not?

My kittens Ben and Jerry were vaccinated at 7 weeks when I adopted them. Now they are 6 months old and are supposed to get another round. They are strictly indoors so I'm not concerned about rabbies. . Some people tell me you need the shots and others say they never got their kitties shots. At $80 a cat I'd just like to know how important these shots are. Thanks in advance.

My cat had a spay and de-claw in last week. Her front paw are warm. Today I found her nose isn't cool as before, it is warm. And one of her eye is tearing.
Is this the normal reaction after the surgery or is she sick?

I got a kitty last November. He's still young, and I've had many cats before him. All those cats were indoor/outdoor cats, but they all ran away in the end. I was wondering if I should make my cat an indoor cat or an indoor/outdoor cat.

My cat (age 14yr) is trying to eat but can't because she has lost most of her teeth. I've tried giving her canned food, but all she does is lick the gravey off; she doesn't eat it. I've tried hot water in her dry food, gravey, chicken broth, even warm milk, but still she can't eat it. Any tips save going to the vet?

My cat has been doing this her whole life but hardly ever maybe 3 times a year but it does happen. She's had many check up's and the vet says she doesn't have worms. So why is she doing that?

I had my cat since she was 4 weeks old so she doesn't remember being around her littermates at all. She is a fairly aggressive cat. I have to play gently with her. She has never been around any other cats and is an indoor cat only. She is spayed, and the new kitten I'm getting from a rescue is neutered male about 6 months old who seems a lot calmer. I was looking for advice on introducing them to each other. I expect my cat to go nuts at first. I was thinking of leaving the kitten in the carrier in the apt. until my cat seems to adjust to him by smelling him through the carrier.
