My cat had a spay and de-claw in last week. Her front paw are warm. Today I found her nose isn't cool as before, it is warm. And one of her eye is tearing.
Is this the normal reaction after the surgery or is she sick?

A cat's normal body temperature is usually somewhere around 101 I think my vet told me. A cat doesnt actually have a fever to cause concern unless its temp is 103. If you decide to check it yourself you will need a proper rectal thermometer and some vaseline and a good deal of patienc. Is her body warmer than usual, overall? I could tell my cat was feverish because his body felt warmer on my lap - but he also had other symptoms. If your cat starts acting differently, becomes listless, throws up, hides, avoids you, cries more than usual, stops eating or drinking or changes behavior in some way (its hard to list them all) then its time to go to the vet. Keep your eye on the eye because it could be conjunctivitis. If it gets crusty or if it continues to discharge then you should have it looked it. One week after surgery is a pretty good amount of time. Doesnt sound like it had anything to do with the surgery but maybe came into contact with some other bug at the vet. Is the paw okay? Any puss, redness or swelling? Elevated temps can be indicative of infection in the body. By now (a full week) a spayed cat should be up and running as normal. I've never declawed so don't have an answer to that.

My cat got both last monday and the other day i noticed how warm she felt and her nose was dry. I also been giving her pain medication. Today and last nite she has fianlly been more active and feeling better. I dont know your cats running a fever its all up to waht you think . But if shes not looking better in a day or two probaly shoudl call the vet. If your giving her pain meds like i am to mine keep in mind these will aftect her too.
