I got my cat a igloo basket about a year ago and no matter how I tried to encourage him to use it, he flat refused and would allways choose to sleep at the bottom of my bed. Since my wee dad died last week he has suddenly started sleeping in his basket and seems to be keeping his distance in a way. Do you think he can sence something. You always hear animals can sence things O bless I hope not.

A friend of mine had a black kitten which they were cruel to especially her youngest son.She asked me to take it to the pound but i kept it.He is nearly 1yr old now and he is so afraid of people especially my youngest son.His name is Nicky,he plays with my other cat and the 3 dogs,sleeps inside with Cc and goes outside when he wants.Even if someone drops something he jumps,he is very alert. Sometimes he wont even let us pat him because he's scared.me and my daughter can pick him up,he hardley lets anyone else.My son adores him,he gets upset cause he cant pat Nicky,he runs away.Is their a way to show him that we are not going to hurt him,we have tried everything since he was a kitten.

Crystal (named because of her white eyes) was in heat the first week of January. I have found many sources saying gestation is in 63 days. That puts the birth time the first week of March, which is two weeks from now. Lately her belly has begun to grow very wide and she now sleeps on her back allowing me to feel for signs of life. Today I felt a bunch of movement - head butts and hind leg kicks. She's been restless all day, probably because of the activety in her belly. My question is: since the kits are active, is it a sign that the birthing is going to happen within this week. Or is this a normal stage of development like in humans and I shouldn't worry and just wait for the normal 63 days before I panic? Thanx in advance for all your help.

PLUS if these kittens come out like her (White Egyptian Mau Mix) or the suspected father (Black Persian) I'm selling them $50 a pop. Let me know if you interested.

My cat JJ doesnt like to be around my boyfriend anymore, ever since I was mad at my boyfriend , My cat JJ would lay on my stomeck , and when my boyfriend would try to get near me, JJ would hiss, I dont understand, my boyfriend raised JJ , when he was a kitten, even bottle fed him. Why does my cat hate my boyfriend. When my boyfriend want's to hold JJ , he would try to make JJ lay by him, but JJ would always come back to me, and hiss at my boyfriend.
