Generally, NO, unless you act like a cat - that is, stay on the floor with her a lot, on all fours, ad pounce her or encourage her to pounce. I dont think this is a great idea, it generally turns your cat into an ankle biter...

No, you don't smell or communicate the way a cat does, they think of you as part of their "pack" even through cats tend to be solitary.

My cat thinks I'm her b*tch lol. She's a spoiled kittie but I love her to death. I dunno if she thinks I'm just a bigger cat, she does tend to groom my hands and face and pounce on me. I can tell though that she gives me the look, feed me my b*tch and clean the poop out of my box my b*tch lol lol.
