My cat JJ doesnt like to be around my boyfriend anymore, ever since I was mad at my boyfriend , My cat JJ would lay on my stomeck , and when my boyfriend would try to get near me, JJ would hiss, I dont understand, my boyfriend raised JJ , when he was a kitten, even bottle fed him. Why does my cat hate my boyfriend. When my boyfriend want's to hold JJ , he would try to make JJ lay by him, but JJ would always come back to me, and hiss at my boyfriend.

He sees your boyfriend as a threat to his territory. when you had a fight, in JJ's mind he moved in to fill that space as the dominant male. Now that your boyfriend and you have made good again he's not willing to relinquish his dominance over the area, or over you. Don't punish him for it, it's normal. Just make sure that you and JJ have your time together and you and your boyfriend have time together.

Is the boyfriend always good to JJ even when you are not around? They could be having domestic disputes that you aren't aware of. Just a thought.

Cats can sense something wrong and bad with that person. It might be because your cat jj feels that your boyfriend is bad and doesnt want you around him. It might be that because cats can do that as well as dogs.

Either that or your cat is a good judge of character and you need a new boyfriend. He just likes you better and that is his choice. Some cats are attached to one person. My hasband had a cat when we got together. The cat ended up sitting on me or laying on me. He wasn't toatally unfriendly to my husband, but maybe cats just like the soft laps and touches they get from us over the men.

Animals have a keen sense of people's feelings, it could be that the cat senses dislike from your boyfriend. It could be as simple as that!
