Can My two cat's , coco & JJ, and my dog rocko, know that I'm sad and very depress, cause My boyfriend's let me down today , cause I planed a nice dinner and a movie night that is very romanic, with candles and all the works, And when I went in my room, my two cat's and my dog jumped on my bed, my cat's sleeping on my chest and my dog sleeping by my feet, and the weired thing is that they never want to be in the same room with each other, do they know I'm upset, and depress right now.

We have a cat that stays in about 23 hours a day. For some reason, she just has to go out about an hour a day, so we got her a cat door so she could come and go as she pleases. We just went to the Humane Society to adopt another cat since our other cat seems to get lonely at times, especially when we are at work. We were crushed when the people at the Humane Society said they could not let us adopt the cat because it has to be an indoor cat 100% of the time. What do you think of this?

My cat is 17 years old. I have had him since he was 10 weeks old. He is terribly thin, vomits a lot and is incontinent. I know I should have him put to sleep. How do I find the courage to take him to the vet?

I have a 7 year old cat named Daisy. I've had her since she was born. Other pets have come and gone for short periods in her life. I have been dating my boyfriend now for almost 2 years. He came with a cat. A few months later we got another cat. And a few months after that we got a puppy. Daisy is the only cat that has claws. So, she thinks she's the boss. She doesn't claw anything. But since we've gotten the other pets, she's been spraying my boyfriend's leather recliner and other spots in the house. She thinks that my boyfriend is responsible for the additional permanent residents. We're not going to get rid of any of our pets. But I was thinking that if I declaw her, maybe it would make her realize she's not the boss... I am. I don't know if that would mentally scar her since she's older, or not. Any suggestions what I could do...???

I dont want my severe kidney disease suffering cat to receive the subcutaneous fluid therapy (sub-Q) because it would be too painful for her and she is 15 years old and suffers a heart murmur (a sort of heart condition). I've been told cats who suffer from a heart condition shouldn't receive this sub-Q treatment because it's dangerous. I need to know what other options are out there instead of the subcutaneous fluid therapy/liquid (sub-q), there has to be other options. The vet i'm taking her with isn't very helpful he offered that option, and I really need to know what to do so her kidneys get better fast, right now she doesn't have a treatment or an adequate diet:-( I need urgent speedy help to find a better vet (preferably holistic) in Chicago. If anyone knows please let me know i'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi as some of you might know i lost my kitten a month back through a road accident. I have just got a female 7 month old tabby who is gorgeous. I know i have only just got her today but im really paranoid over things. Firstly me and my partner are not letting her out due to what happened with my other kitty but sher keeps crying near the door and windows? Any suggestions? The people at the animal sanctary has de-flead her today but i have found 4 alive fleas? I have put more flea solution on her what i already had, but are the fleas visable cause they are making their way upton the area which has the solution and just hasn't died yet? Her name is Jasmine and she is beautiful

I just started my cat on OTC tapeworm meds and I was wondering what I can do to make sure she doesn't just get reinfested because of stuff in the environment.. of course I am washing the bedding but everywhere in my apartment is carpeted.. is a quick vacuum going to be enough to take care of these critters? I'm so grossed out! :(

i just rescued a kitten from a house with about 10-15 other cats. i think she's about 2 months old. she's been playing with toys, she used the bathroom in her litter box and she took a nap, but she won't eat anything. i tried to hand feed her by holding some dry food to her nose/mouth & i tried to feed her with an eye dropper but that didn't work either. the house we rescued her from was very dirty and it appeared the cats were just eating anything they could find instead of having a bowl with food put down. any advice on how i can get her used to eating out of her bowl?

My kitten is around 5 months old. I'm not exactly sure. She is constantly crying around the house and she won't leave the family alone. When she gets picked up, she moves her lower end. She also has a clearish liquid coming out of her rear end. Is she in heat? And could I have some advice please? Thanks.
