When my daughter met her future husband, she already had two cats and he was allergic. He knew if he wanted to date her he'd have to find a way to make it work!
Now they've been married for four years (and even added another cat) and this is how they've worked it out. They have an air purifier in the bedroom, and the cats are not allowed in there. My son-in-law takes Claritin as needed. They vacuum the house with the Dyson pet-type vacuum cleaner every other day, and my daughter brushes the cats regularly to keep fur and dander to a minimum.
It takes a bit of work, but they are both able to be happy and healthy cat owners.

If you have allergies to cats as I have, but love them and want to have a cat as a pet. You can be tested and desensitised to what your allergic to at an allergy clinic. I have and it worked wonders. Other wise your just going to have to keep taking antihistamines. Good luck.

Meds from your doctor. It is the salvia that people are allergic to cause they keep licking them selves clean of dust, dirt & dander.

Call and ask your doctor.
