She's most likely in pain right now, and the stuff they gave her to get her to sleep , while she was getting fixed, may not worn off yet, I got my cat JJ fixed and he was the same way, just let her rest , and she will be back to normal the nexted day. Thank you for getting your cat fixed, that was the best thing you done for her.

She's probably still a little stunned from the anesthesia and still disoriented and needs to be left alone for about a day. Keep her in a comfy room with the doors shut and away from any other pets in the house. Give her time to adjust. About 8 hours after the surgery you can give her about half the portion of food than you normally would and keep fresh water in the room. She will be very thirsty. Make sure she has a clean place to do her business and visit her every couple of hours. She will want/need lots of rest for the next 2-3 days.
Good Luck!

She's probably in pain. Neutering can be very difficult for the female. Ours did not move for an entire three days. Put her food and water near her and her litter box. Let her rest quietly and undisturbed. She she should be moving again in a couple of days and she should also be more open to some contact.

hi,

you are a responsible pet owner!! good for you!

if this was done today, no doubt she's having pain and probably still experiencing the affects of the anesthesia. she just wants to be left alone for now for a day or 2, not counting today. she'll be okay. :)

If she was only done today, then she is probably still a bit groggy, leave her alone , she will be ok, give her a day or so, and she'll be back to normal.

Give her time..she just had major surgery and is probably very sore..she will forgive you eventually.
if she continues to act this way after a day or two, then take her to the vet and tell him what is going on.
it never hurts to call you vet and ask if this is normal...he/she will know better than almost anyone on this site.
