My cat Fritter always sits up with his 2 front paws on his tail. It's as though he's guarding it and is afraid it's going to run away or something.... Anyone else have a kitty that does that??

I've seen cats do this too...I'm guessing it's a way of protecting itself, he must be well endowed and wants it kept under control

My cat is very very protective of its tail... if ya touch it, she goes crazy and all over the place, they also watch their tails with one eye open when they are asleep, have you noticed that? lol

he has seen how ridiculous the dog looks chasing his tail and decided the "cool" thing is to just hold on to it before it even gets away

my cat only started doing that after we ran his tail over and yes it was an accident!!!
