Sometimes cats just throw up.
How do you know it's not hairballs? Is she a hairless cat? Even a shaved cat will still get hairballs. And sometimes it takes several vomiting sessions over a period of time to throw up a hairball.
Somestimes cats throw up because they are sick. Thyroid and blood sugar problems can have vomiting as a symptom.
Sometimes cats throw up because of food allergies. You can try switiching to a higher quality food to see if that helps. Natural Balance, Blue Buffalo, Merrick, Evo, Solid Gold, Wysong, and several other are all Super Premium quality foods. Most grocery store brands and brands like Iams, Eukanuba, and Science Diet are typically loaded with fillers and allergens.
If this is an ongoing issue and you don't know what's causing it, bring the cat to the vet. It's always better to be safe rather than sorry.

Like many before said Cats Just Throw up.
But no one mentioned BM you say she has an appetite and is eating, is it making it through the other end? If not you have a problem. Might be partially or completely blocked with something foreign.
If it is making it through it may just be a food or diet issue. Eating to quickly maybe try VERY small frequent meals instead of free feeding or large meals.

Cats if only eating dry food will tend to overindulge. Then when it fills her stomach the food expands and she throws up. Also if she starts starts throwing up bile (white/yellowish foam and starts losing weight take her to the vet. My 9 year cat kept throwing up more than usual and started losing weight, I took him to the vet and found out he had a overactive thyroid he gets a half a pill a day (and yes it's possible to give a cat a pill, lol) He's gained weight and doesn't throw up as much.

She most likely has worms in stomach. Worms secrete a substance which makes cats want to throw up. Get her stools tested for the species of worms infecting her and then get an appropriate medicine. The most common problem with most cats is Tape Worms and Hook Worms and a very wide range of over-the-counter stuff will be available at your local pharmacy for dealing with these.

Is she throwing up bile or partially digested food? Is your bag of food expired? Definitely rule out that she didn't get into something.
Sometimes cats will develop food allergies. How is her litterbox? Any diarrhea?

i'd get your cat to a vet ASAP. My cat replaced into drooling and throwing up foam and it grew to become available replaced right into a substantial furball in her abdomen. They theory they have been going to could eliminate it surgically. in spite of the undeniable fact that, they have been able to supply her drugs that dissolved many of the hairball and he or she replaced into able to throw it up. The vet had taken and x-ray to locate the mass in her abdomen and one among her first questions replaced into if she would have eaten any string or carpet threads. . .those could additionally reason blockage and vomiting.

She probably just ate something funky like a bug or a wad of dust. If she's not fine tomorrow, then I'd be concerned. You don't have any poisonous plants and you didn't give her chocolate, I assume?

She could be allergic to her food. Feed food that has no by-products in it and low in grains, from a pet store. Premium is the way to go.

sometimes after i brush my cat, he throws up. I think its a nervous thing. Usually if they puke, its because they ate something other than their normal diet. Dont worry about it unless they puke several times a day.

if you are giving it milk, then stop. milk is very bad for cats and could be causing it to puke. otherwise, id say it ate something wierd or got some thing caught in its throat, lie a gag reflex
