Normal is a relative term. Obviously it's normal for her. She may have gotten into this habit when she was teething and never lost it. Or she may be afraid and is biting as a form of warning to others while reassuring herself. If she is afraid by nature she may believe that preemptive biting is a warning to others that if they try to hurt her she will hurt them as well. Some animals (and people-though not usually by biting, but rather rudeness or by being quick to anger) find this reassuring, believing that she has clearly set the boundaries and thus formed an understanding of what she expects from the person.
Please provide a little more information if you can. Is she biting hard or is it just a little nip? Does she do it with everyone? Does she not bite everyone but rather has a select group of people she bites while never doing so with others? Have you tried observing when and under what circumstances she is biting?
It may be that she simply hates having her tail touched, or her ears, or something like that. It could also be that she is experiencing pain somewhere and reacts when someone touches her in that spot. Or she may be experiencing anxiety and is biting as a form of stress relief.
Finally, there's always the possibility that she has never been properly trained NOT to bite and is therefore performing on the assumption that what she is doing is just fine. Let us know, maybe I or someone else can be more helpful if given more information.

I'd love to say all Tigers bite - but I won't. Kittys bite - it's part of their training to be predators and it is normal for them to do it.

It can be normal as long as he is not biting hard and breaking skin. Soemtimes cats bite in an affectionate way and that can be OK. But if he is hurting you then you should tell him no and walk away any time he does it.

its probably because you are letting him get away with it. You need to discipline him when he does it like a child needs. Slap him or push him away and ignore him, cats are attention fiends. And reward them when they do good with treats. If cats are declawed they naturally resort to biting as a defense. Try giving a chew toy, he is prolly teething too.

Well, yes because he just thinks your playing! Or, mabe he was abused before you got him and is still not to, to comfortable with people. He could think he has to defend himself.

btw such an original cat name!!!!
