I don't know how old he/she is, but I heard that Canned Cat Food will give your cat the "poops" and I don't want that. so should I just get Kitten Food with lots of nutrients and just get it wet?

The emergency vet said the bottom inner eyelid was what was swollen. . He eye was fine Wednesday when I looked at her.
The vet gave us some meds for her.One an ointment and one a pill. She is an outdoor cat, but since we've had (14 yrs )this has never happened before. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem with their cat and what could it be that is making her eye swell? she does have a hx of UTI's but no other problems.
Is it some sort of scratch or infection?
I really didn't dare let it go not knowing what is was.

now i know that cats will usually suck on things like blankets or stuffed animals but my seven week old kitten has been sucking on my earlobes constantly. at first i thought it was cute but it has now gotten to the piont that i cant even sleep becaue shes doing it all night long and even if i put a blanket over my head she starts scraching me and trying to burrow under the blanket to get to my ears. also it hurts and both of my ears have cuts on them now not terrible but enough for them to scab over. i know this sounds wierd i guess i just want to know if anyone has any advice or if anyone has ever heard or expirienced this before.
thanks

Today when I went to visit him , he had developed a slight tremor. Does anyone know if the tremor could be a side effect of the chemo drugs?

We have just recently got a kitten. We've had up to two other animals in the house before and she didn't do this then.

I am house-sitting a 11yrd male cat. He is mostly an indoor cat but goes out 1-2 a day (never for very long), depending on what time I get home from work. I've noticed his litterbox is never very dirty even when he's been inside for long periods of time. I cleaned it today and there were only 2 clumbs of pee and no poo (I cleaned it previously on Wed.& today's is Sat.) I am pretty sure he's not doin business anywhere inside the house, but I'm concerned that he's not going often enough and something might be wrong with him. Any advice/suggestions before I schedule a vet appointment?

My pet cat has sadly passed away. I have decided that it is a shame to bury her, so have decided to eat her. My neighbour( i think he is muslim) gave me the idea as he said he ate his dog.Well what i want to know is it legal, and also is it safe. Any recipe ideas will be much appreciated, but she will not fit in the microwave. Thanks

i dont mean the kids that pull their tails and chase them - I just mean any small children. the first time a small child came to my house my cats ran for the hills in terror, although they havent had any bad experiences with children. my friend said the same thing about hers. Is it cos small children are dog-sized??!

I got my cat from a cat and dog shelter, she is a tabby but she has a thin face like a siamese, she has been settling in fine but she has the strangest habit of running to the corner of a room, facing the wall and making these strange deep meowing noises and swishing her tail. Does anyone know why? could it be the possibility she could be half siamese because i heard they have strange cat habits?

We are picking our new kitten up this week, both the cat and kitten are very loveable and love a fuss. They are both males, the kitten was hand reared and a small 4 months old.
Is it ok to just introduce them straight away or do we have to do that slowly?Ta!

Neighbour has four cats, one of which loves it at my house at the moment he's asleep on his cushion. I will leave a window open because I haven't got a catflap will he jump out of the window if he needs to do a poo? He has been trying to get in all day and I have finally given up after loud miows and jumping on the window ledge and looking in, he is really tired. NO GO area speaking to his owners ....
