I have a beautiful four month old kitten, his name is Peaches. Peaches had a small upper respitory problem so the Veterinarian advised my some medicine that I give by this little droplet thing. Only problem is feeding my kitten the medicine. The first day I had to hold him down and force the liquid into his mouth, but today he knows better and everytime he sees me with the pink liquid he runs as fast and far away as he can. I tried the help of my girlfriend, who held him down and opened him mouth...But instead the liquid splashed across his face, hardly any getting in his mouth. This is ridiculous, anyone have any quick suggestions?

My old Latvian Aunt was freaked for days after her old cat ate some chocolate ice cream out of her bowl. What can I tell her about this, coz it doesn't sound true to me. Thanks

I have 3 cats - 12yr old, 5yr old and a now 9mo (got him when he was 8wks) Got the kitten for the 5yr old and they are not getting along. She hisses at him and then he attacks her. The kitten seems to attack either of the others if I am paying attention to them.
What can I do? There are times when all 3 lay on the same bed and sleep - so I don't know if they do this aggressive behavior only when I am home.

I have been scooping my litter boxes about 3 times a day (once in the morning, once after getting home from work, once before bed). I have 2 cats, 2 litterboxes (I know I should have a 3rd but in a 1 bdrm apartment, I have nowhere else to put another one). I use clumping pine litter. Is this cleaning the boxes enough, or am I being too obsessive about it?

Can I get a viable stool sample from the litter box? The stool is runny and makes a big clump in the litter. Do I need to try to get one that's clean (directly from the cat)?

Hi guys

My babyTinkerbell is 4.5 months old, Ive had her since 6 weeks and she has been playing with another kitten of the same age until last week, as the owners have now moved out.

I have loadsa toys for her, but she's bored now, I built a cardboard house for her and she has a huge 6 bedroomed house to run around when Im at work, 5 days a week..........

Thing is now her friend has gone, Im worried she will be really lonely and sad, my flatmates are students and I cant get another kitten as it will jeapodise my future accomodation prospects.

Any advice ..............?

I have a 2 year old female cat. She is very sweet. I recently took in 2 cats from my brother last night, one 6 months and the other 2 years, one is male. The male and my female do NOT get along at all... hissing like crazy and fighting. The male attacked my arm when I tried to pick him up from the area. Any chance of this working? I called my brother to take back the 2 year old male.

I live in India. I have been bitten by a rabid kitten. The kitten died last week of rabies like illness. I took a 5-series rabies vaccine shot in May 2006. Am I protected, or do I have to get another series done? I was bitten 1 month ago while feeding the kitten and not because of provocation. It was a small teeny-weeny puncture wound on my finger, which has now healed. The kitten is dead and I dont know what to do.

She is 18 months and a little timid... she keeps either hiding from me, or jumping at me with the occasional 2 hour cuddle thrown in! Very confusing... I am sure she is confused too.
Also, how do I settle her more during the night so I can sleep better? She is not too noisy but she does claw at everything and I hear her move around jumping about.
Any help much appreciated! Thanks.

Why Can't I find a Home for this Kitten? Does it Look Ugly or Sick In the Pictures/Videos?
I recently set up a website aimed at rescuing and homing a number of kitties living on the street near my place. I rescued a nursing mom and have found a home for 1 of her 2 kittens, but no one is expressing an interest in the other one. I think she is gorgeous and don't understand it. It was hard to get her to sit still for good pics. Her pics are on the front page of my website and she also has a "kitten video clip"...please have a look and let me know if you think the pic is the problem? I also have a lot of adults (some that aren't all that friendly yet) and I can understand why it's hard to get them homes, but can't figure out why I can't get a real cute kitten a good home. Thanks

I have a female cat. She has been neutered. For the past six months she has been spraying round the house. Usually in corners but also on my fathers i mac monitor and on his laptop too. Also on the tv screen. She seems to go for stuff we use. Even recently in my toolbox.
How can i stop her doing this? are there any sprays to buy to put her off?
Any ideas why she is doing this in the first place.
I love my at but its driving me nuts!

And what can I do to curb this new cat phenomenon? He is the most gorgeous thing otherwise, but has just started cornering, hissing and swiping at guests. I can't afford to keep up the bandaids!!

i have a 10week old chinchilla X himalayan
when she was about 7 weeks old i noticed she lost a patch of fur above her eye, and it had a little sore in it.
Its been 3 weeks and it still hasnt healed.
Could this be worms?

My kitten is around 6 months old and just recently started to vomit with a slightly bloody mucus. He hasn't wanted to play with his sisters, and is just laying around. I've removed him from anything that he could eat and I'm only providing him with water. It's 12:30 at night so I cant take him to a vet right now. But he's vomiting like every 30 min or so. He looks so miserable. Any ideas on how to make him feel better? Or what it could be?

i'm not sure but i think he got into a fight. he came home and he's really beat up. he has a scratch under his eye, but what really worries me is that all of his front claws have been ripped out. is there anything i can do for him (besides taking him to the vet)? i can tell he just isn't feeling well since he hasn't groomed himself and he is sleeping more than usual.
