Why Can't I find a Home for this Kitten? Does it Look Ugly or Sick In the Pictures/Videos?
I recently set up a website aimed at rescuing and homing a number of kitties living on the street near my place. I rescued a nursing mom and have found a home for 1 of her 2 kittens, but no one is expressing an interest in the other one. I think she is gorgeous and don't understand it. It was hard to get her to sit still for good pics. Her pics are on the front page of my website and she also has a "kitten video clip"...please have a look and let me know if you think the pic is the problem? I also have a lot of adults (some that aren't all that friendly yet) and I can understand why it's hard to get them homes, but can't figure out why I can't get a real cute kitten a good home. Thanks

Please don't post negative things...unless you really want to hurt the chances of homeless kitties getting homes, and why would you want to do that?

She's adorable-there just may not be the right person out there yet. I wish I had more room and money so I could get your FIV boys,though-I have one and he's the sweetest boy. He lives with my VACCINATED FIV - cats with no problems and no sign of ill health yet.
Good luck and bless you for helping the kitties.

The kitty looks really cute! There are just so many strays out there. Also, not everyone wants to take on a kitten. I don't want to go through training, etc. again; I just adopted an adult cat from the local animal shelter. Good luck - someone will fall in love with her.

Kitty looks cute and healthy. For me, your website has too much stuff on it and streaming vid only slows down the download--if a webpage doesn't load within a slow count of 3 seconds, I move on to someone else (perhaps keep the vid as a link for those who have more time). Maybe it's more that your website isn't reaching enough people in your part of the world. And you might want to try doing an ad on www.craigslist.com for your part of Australia--lots of people check Craigs List and you could point them to your website at the same time you list your kitty.

No! It is a very cute kitten, but it's not the kitten's fault. The pet population is just overwhelming with animals and it makes it hard for them to find good homes. I wish the laws were enforced more when it comes to spaying/neutering by having pet owners have a set limit on how many each person owned to be bred. I think it is a good thing what your doing, but it is hard to watch when their not getting adopted. Good luck!

awwww! she is just to cute...nothing wrong with the pics but it might have something to do with the fact she is fully black, there are a lot of people out there who are superstiious you know what i mean......and i think she will have a home soon and make a family very happy, she will catch somebodys eye!
