It's funny, but I got my cat and dog (both females) at the same time when they were both babies. The dog is a German Shepard mix, and the cat is a grey short-haired tabby. The dog actually cleans the cats ears every day! Seriously! Dog holds the cat down with her paws and licks at the cat ears till they're clean!

He will need to be seen by a vet. It's possible that he doesn't have ear mites, as ear infections can also cause gunky ears. Mites need to be passed directly from another animal.
If he does, indeed, have mites, prescription products are going to be much more effective than over the counter ones. There are usually two products used..Mita Clear, which is an ear drop, used once a week for three to four weeks. Or Revolution, which is a once a month pour on shown to be useful in treating ear mites. Either one needs to come from your vet.
Vets still have to treat aggressive animals. Attitude aside, they still have health care needs. There are various methods for treating feisty pets. But a vet will not turn an animal away.

Since vets are private businesses (not government run), they have the right to refuse service to whom they want--and I've had vets turn away an animals because the vet on duty is allergic to that animal (a rabbit in this case) (which in my opinion, that person should go in for allergy shots to over it or get out of the business!). However, I have a sweet little kitty who turns into a hell cat at the vet--takes 4 vet techs and a vet to handle her (with those long leather gloves) and they usually have to sedate her before removing her from her carrier (they give her the shot right through the sides of the fabric carrier). You should get your cat to the vet to make sure it is only ear mites and not something more serious. You might want to trim really well your cats claws the night before going to the vet. You might have a vet who makes house calls in your town, will probably cost more but the cat won't get so agitated since he'll be home..

Use olive oil or caster oil on cotton balls. Keep cleaning until all black looking substance is out of ears and as far in canal as possible, do not stick anything smaller than a cotton ball in there though. Do this twice a day until ears are healed, do not pour or dump oil into ears, but put on cotton balls. Or ask your vet for a tranquilizer to calm your cat before you bring it in.

No one can stop you from taking your cat to the vet. Nurses work on humans. The vet can give you an ear solution to cure the problem. Good luck.

Wash the ears well and put an oil like olive oil in them for a few days and that should kill them . You can get earmite meds at pet supply or Wally World , a tick caller helps keep them under control.

You're not allowed to take him? Please... thats bogus! Vets don't turn down animals. Secondly, there are options for crazed cats at vets to get what needs to be done done. If you can't afford to properly care for an animal you own, don't own it!! Seriously!! Ear mites if left untreated can cause ear loss, or permenant damage. Please get your cat to a vet. You CAN treat ear mites at your own leisure, however in your case, I wouldn't recommend it.

First things first: Get a new Vet ASAP! If they have banned you from seeking medical help for your animal, they should not be dealing with any pets!
