Don't worry its probably just the change in diet, get an adult cat food with jelly and it will be less of change for him. Try him on dry cat food & plenty of water for a couple of days. If still not better take to vets. good luck

Maybe the gravy is upsetting his tummy, you could try adult jelly food (whiskas do one).
We have 2 cats (which we've had from kittens and they're now in the naughty 2's) and they're the opposite, they're really funny about eating the food in jelly, but love the gravy.

You could also try just putting him onto dry cat biscuits for a couple of days to settle his stomach as they're less rich than wet food.
You should feed a cat a mixture of wet food and biscuits anyway to give him a balanced diet, they also help with their teeth.

Hope your cat feels better soon, if not take him to the vets as you don't want to risk it being anything nasty like a stomach bug.

Some people say Whiskers is not a very good cat food, it makes your cat fat because of the addatives (my cats love it) but perhaps you could try your kitten on another food for a while. Hope this helps.

It's the food. When you want to switch from kitten food to adult cat food, you need to start with the kitten food and add a little adult food, mix it well, and let the cat eat it. Start adding more adult cat food and less kitten food as the days go by. Eventually, your cat shouldn't have any problems with the food.

Take away his food for a couple hours. Give him a small amount of plain boiled chicken tonight and tomorrow morning. That should help with the diarrhea. Try mixing the old food with the new food and slowly introduce him to the new food to prevent diarrhea. If your cat continues to be sick, call your vet and make an appointment to have him checked out.

He is only five months old and should still be feeding him Whiskas kitten food (1-12 months old). When he is hungry he will eat. Try mixing it with the kitten milk which will change the flavour. Trying getting him too some kitten biscuits like the Purina ONE.

Young cats can't digest the gravy.

please try changeing his food back . or at least try a new kitten food . a kittens stomach is very very sensitive . I had to change my kittys food to because he got very bored with it he is also a male my vet told me that most males like a lot of meat in thier food no girly food such as crab meat and trout . make sure that he has plenty of water if it is not cold eanough a male cat will not drink it you may have to put ice cubes in it also if he will not even try to eat you may have to coax him with chicken broth on his food or try beef broth . my vet reccomended meow Mix Lil kitten nibbles it comes in a yellow and pink bag this kitten food has over 37 nutrients in it and has the reccomended taurine levels in it just for kittens . your kitten could also have a little cold but if he does not start eating the you might want to call your local vet . i hope this helps and I hope your kitty feels better and starts eating again

It could be the change of food but if he is off colour in other ways maybe best to take him for a check up. If you try feeding him a good quality dried food such as hills(you can get from vets &pet shops) it may help.My vet told me before that a cats body is not designed to be sick so its best to get it checked out. Get well soon pussycat!!!!!!!

Don't panic, this coincides with the change of diet. Just give the vet a ring, I'm sure they'll say it can wait til Monday and they may have some advice for you; it will probably be don't feed him for 24 hours, don't give milk, make sure he has clean freash water and see if he improves.
Good luck.

Take it to the vet! until you may get there nevertheless attempt giving it a tablespoon of Peptobismal.that's no longer common to do.attempt to get it in direction of the back of the throat the place it has to swallow.ascertain you wash and sanitize your arms after cleansing up any messes it could make.I shrunk a plague spoke of as H.Pylori from my cat.(treatable yet ohhh the tummy discomfort!)wish this works for you!?
