Cats - December 2006

I just recently moved into a new house, with a bunch of other people. There is a cat here, and I was here for 2-3 days maybe, and it urinated on my new Nike running shoes. The smell is HORRIBLE... and I've washed them twice, and filled them full and surrounded them with Bounce Fabric Softener sheets... they still stink. Is there anything I can do, or buy to get rid of the smell? PLease don't say get new shoes...

He was a house cat for the 1st 5 years of his life, but we moved and now I have been letting him out. He loves to go outside, but the local Big Tom bullies him a bit, but he's only come home with a little scratch on his nose, his pride was hurt more than anything! and I worry about him not being very "streetwise". Do other Siamese owners let theirs out, or not?What's been your experience. Thanks.

Cats like Cat-Nip but whats that thing that cats DON'T like, besides water (my cat likes water). My cat is still a kitten (4 months) and she loves to climb our Christmas tree and break ordments, she loves to hind behind the glass on the table and constaly bites us and our guest. So whats the thing to 'tame' your cat AWAY from something? Please help!

My cat has seeds in her poo. which in turn leave seeds on her bottom. Then leave those seeds in her bed. I was wondering if this whole seed thing was because I was feeding her some type of food causing it. Is she sick? There not like big seeds. but there very small and white.

My kitty was bitten on face by a snake last week. She has been on antibiotics, and it finally ruptured last night. *Gross! - I know!
It drained safely, and is still painful. I'm aware that u can give dogs certain over-the-counter "human" medications, Is there anything I can safely give my cat? - without making her sick? 6 mth old Female Siamese. And... Is it a good idea to use an astringent/antiseptic, to clean it? Or let her siblings accomodate that department?

My 5 month old kitten has had the most horrid breath for the past couple of days.
How do I get rid of it? I tried brushing his teeth but he wouldn't let me. (no I didn't use toothpaste Just water)

I just bought a kitten last week and she is always meowing day and night- the only time she stops is when I put her on my lap or hold her. She is eating and drinking fine but she isn't playing much either. all she wants is to be in my arms or laying on my lap and falls asleep constantly. what can i do to get her more active or could there be something wrong with her?

I found a stray kitten and took her in. Shes all bones..very weak. I've been giving her kitten milk every 2-3 hours and following all directions. Keep her warm...etc.

I put a flea collar on her after bathing her because she had a bad flea problem! I had NOOO idea this was bad for her...shes very sick and weak and almost died this morning. She is doing a lot better now since taking the collar off...13 hours ago. Shes going to the vet in the morning. I'm so scared shes going to die. I continue to feed her, love her and keep her warm.

I'm wondering what can i do for her until her vet appt. I'm cant sleep im so scared shes going to die. Please any help is desperately needed. Pleeeeeease!!!!!!!!!

for the past few weeks i have caught my cat urinating in our bathroom sinks....he has also pooped in it once. yesterday i caught him urinating on the tree skirt to our xmas tree twice. does anyone know why he might be doing this???

i am almost 9 months pregnant and some people are saying that he is rebelling because he knows that the baby is coming soon....i dont know whether to believe that!!!
