Let me think for a moment into my cat language database....

pfurrrrrrrrt means- I'm hungry and brrrrrrrrrrmaaaaaauw means-- You still havent fed me and Im still hungry so do it!

It could mean lots of things..."Dad, Im hungry...my litterbox is dirty...I got an itch, scratch it for me?...Yawn, Im so sleepy...Play with me, Im bored...Everything is puuurrrfect...or the good ol' 'I love you'" My cat hardly ever "talks" but when she does, I think the neighbors can hear her.

pfurrrrt is contentment and love. They make that sound to kittens. Brrrmaaauw is usually hello or what's going on. Isn't it wonderful how expressive cats are?

Pfurrrt is the warning spit issued out by a cat ~~ more of a hiss but with the mouth open ~~ when it is angry and/or afraid.

Brrmaaauw (I think) is when two Tom cats are sparing for a fight.
