I have found vinegar to be more effective in neutralizing cat urine odour than any commercial product. You can go as high a concentration as 1 part vinegar to 7 parts water. But, if the urine has soaked all the way through the carpet into the underpad or the wood subfloor, you will have to remove the stained parts to fully eliminate the smell.

We found that the only thing that worked was a professional carpet cleaning. Ask the cleaner if they have special enzymes that remove the urine. Otherwise you are in a no-win situation. The cat will still smell the urine and continue to go on your carpet. Believe me... it is a really great feeling to remove that smell and problem from your house!

If the smell still there, the cat will l keep going back to the same spot. Clean it with biological washing powder, then when its dry, sprinkle some more on top as long as possible. A cat who wees inside is stressed. Get some feliway pheramone spray, it really really works, my cat was a complete psycho, weeing everywhere, and this calmed her down like a miracle.

Have you tried Nature's Miracle? They have a formula especially for that lovely cat pee smell. I would try that. Just follow the directions. It can take up to two weeks for the smell to be completely gone, but it was worked wonders for me.

To remove the odor, use a product like "Nature's Miracle"; it can restore surfaces to their normal PH. It's available at most larger pet stores and on-line. Make sure you not only clean the carpet, but the padding and floor beneath it as well.

when you have an animal, it is important to also buy natures miracle-- it is sold in pet stores.
first, saturate areas that stink with the natures miracle. then steam clean with good cleaner. after it is clean, re-use natures miracle and let dry.
neither kitty nor you should smell the sites anymore. it really is a miracle.
