thats all that you really can do...just make sure she is warm and you keep her hydrated....hopefully the chemicals that were in the collar will discipate by the morning and she will get better.
as long as she seems comfortable, dont worry and just take her to the vet in the morning....she will let you know if she is in distress....
by the way...what kitten milk are you feeding her??? i suggest using KMR (kitten meal replacement) you can buy it in either milk or powder form at any pet store....it is the BEST and most nutritious food for sick kittens!
kudos to you for taking her in...last year i took in 2 kittens that were near death as well...needless to say the little orange one that the doctor said wasnt going to make it sleep next to me every nite now!!!!

Does your area of the country have an emergance vet i would take the klitten to the vet and do not put the flea collar on the kitten again the vet will tell you what to do. I am glad that you realised that the collar was causing the kitten to be sicker than just skinny.

You've done all you can at this point. Cats do have nine lives. They can be very sick and recover. I'm happy to hear you are taking her to the vet. Never, never, put a flea collar on a kitten. It's better to bathe the kitten in Palmolive dish soap to kill the fleas. No chemicals on little kittens. Good Luck to you! I hope your kitty gets better!

I have phoned this place before and they were helpful..
Animal Poison Control Center: (888) 426-4435. Cost is $45.00 per case and can be charged to Visa, Mastercard , Discover or American Express. The Center will do as many follow-up calls as necessary in critical cases, and at the owner's request will contact their veterinarian. The Center also provides via fax specific treatment protocols and current literature citations when indicated.
I hope kitty is well soon.

Continue to love her and keep her warm, keep trying to get her to to eat. A chicken and gravy based kitten food will be good for her when she gets back from the vet. Just pray sweetheart. I do this when I find abandoned kittens on the farm. You're doing all you can. Just get her to a vet as soon as possible.
Bless you.

Call the 24-hr emergency vet clinic, and tell them what you've told us. See if they think waiting til the kitty's appt. time will be ok. It's not that long til morning, and if the kitty is still doing better, then she will likely be fine. But call that 24-hr clinic to be sure, and it will probably help you feel better to know. Sounds like you're doing all that you can for the little sweetie at home.

Just gotta wait until morning. Anything else could further weaken the kitten. Sleep and food is the best to help her recover.

Man, I did not know flea collars were poisonous...I must try that. Anyways, invest your money in a shovel instead of taking it to the vet. Dig a shallow grave and dump the cat in. It is probably going to die anyways, so it does not matter if it is still breathing a little bit.
